Appliance Repair
The dryer isn?t working and the guy took 3 to 4 hours to fix the dryer. The part arrived on the same day and they said that it would take weeks for it to arrive I called to see if they could come back sooner and they said they would not be able to. ?I don?t think that the guy was knowledgeable.

They are cheaper and efficient than others. I have never had a problem. They have excellent customer service. They have a two week turnaround time and they apply the $45.00 charge to the bill. You do not have to make an appointment, you can just walk in.

Appliance Repair
The thing that I disliked about them was that the initial repair did not work and we had to wait another four weeks before being able to schedule another repair. Their organizational skills are extremely poor. Their department seemed to not communicate with each other and I had to contact department only to redirect another who had no idea what the initial department was doing. It was extremely frustrating. I would not recommend using Sears again and I would not use them in the future.

Appliance Repair
It was a brand new refrigerator that we bought in September and we have had him out ever since and we have to call him again. We used them for almost 30 years and we have always been very pleased. I would not recommend them because their rule is that if they have to come out for the same appliance repair or address the same issue 4 times, then would term it as a faulty appliance and replace it. My sister has a stove and they have been 12 times for it and are not going to replace it and it will our 10th time for us. We have a maintenance agreement when we picked up the appliance when we built the house in 2001. We have always been very pleased with them, but I am looking around for who else can provide the same service. We put the refrigerator in our garage that is heated and air-conditioned and we told them and they said fine. After the second visit by them, I was told that it required a certain part because it was it in the garage. It cost me a little over $300 for the part and they have been out three times since then. I had them do the maintenance for the other appliances and he was great. The maintenance contract is reasonable and it is valid till 2015. When we bought the refrigerator from them, they offered me a finance scheme for 12 months and it would be interest free or I could get a $50 discard. I took the discard, which is a visa card and I had it sitting and noticed that it was only valid for 6 months, so I went to one of their stores. I wrote letters to them because I was so mad that I could no use it and I told her to ask them once and she asked me if I don’t think she knows her job. She told me that those are my options, so I asked if I could write a check and she said I could. She did not say thank you or even say sorry for the inconvenience. I went over to another man who helped me out before and I said to him that she needs to find another day job. I said to him that someone would have to explain to me why a Sears gift cards it not redeemable in a Sears store. He asked me if that is what she told me and I am sure and he said that she is wrong.
