He came to our house, gave an estimate then did as he promised. It took a long time as he is in high demand and spends lots of time on his products. He did tell us this at the start so it was no surprise. When he put the bed in my first thought was, "this is so beautiful, what else can he do for us."

Mr. Rousseau came out and took measurements and gave us an estimate. He seems fairly busy so it was a couple of months before he could begin our project. I contacted the original owner of the house to find the manufacturer of the existing crown molding. Mr. Rousseau came out again before beginning to double check the measurements and to be sure he knew exactly what we expected. He showed us photos of other projects he had completed. We gave him a $1,000 deposit. He completed most of the assembly and painting in his home shop then brought the pieces in and assembled and finished the project in our house in two and a half days. (He had to take into account placement of heating ducts and electrical outlets.) He matched the paint and molding exactly so that the book shelves look as though they were original to the house. He is extremely neat and careful with his work, a very nice man.

Our expectations were exceeded. He was punctual, courteous and quiet. He made a pre-visit and followed up with an estimate that was accurate. The workmanship was excellent (he is very skilled) and he left the house as clean as when he arrived.

Hank was very reliable from start to finish. He was able to match the existing style perfectly and did not really increase the price, although recreating the ceiling frame was quite some work. The final work is an outstanding-quality bookcase that looks like was always there. He was able to build exactly what we wanted. In addition, he was almost on time with the work, left the area tidy every day and is a very nice person to deal with.

The project went very well. Hank did the measuring and arranged to have the new material milled. He had to coordinate his work with floor refinishing such that he removed the old material prior to the refinishing and put on the new baseboards once the floors were complete. He was very flexible in terms of his scheduling and completed his work when he said he would. I had an opportunity to review his portfolio when he did the estimate. He showed me some wonderful examples of a variety of different projects. In the future, I plan to have him rebuild my fireplace mantle and, perhaps, build some shelving.

We had a great experience. Hank is very polite, extremely clean, has exacting work specifications, and is willing to work with you on design. He is a bit high on price to what we had originally intended to spend but we are EXTREMELY happy with the work and it was very worth the money. Our whole family has agreed that the project was a complete success.

Hank was prompt in returning my call, was quick to make an appointment and very thorough in his evaluation. He completed the job on time and on budget.
