Rocca tile was outstanding! I could write an essay about how awesome this company is. In fact, this is the first time in many decades of life that I have ever recommended a contractor! - Honest, transparent, and cost-effective pricing. - Continuous communication by text, email and in person about scheduling, daily schedule, etc. Even after the job, we got rapid response to a couple follow-up questions. - Incredibly high quality finished product. - Super easy to work with; accommodating to change orders; really listened to what WE wanted while still offering perspective from years of experience about how various options are likely to turn out. - Clean and tidy! They protected our carpets while tromping through the house. They clean up after themselves. - Veteran owned, small business - the people who own the business do the work. Not a general contractor. You're not paying for someone else to bring in subcontractors. - You have to think ahead and schedule jobs further out than tomorrow! They are SOOO worth the wait. You're hiring real people who have a real stake in their own work and they're in demand.

Fil and his team are outstanding. They are the consummate professionals. We had the old tile removed, wall board replaced, and new backsplash installed. The company removing and replacing the counter top had multiple problems that caused multiple scheduling changes over a 2 week period. Fil was great about working with us to minimize downtime. The job they did was perfect. They show up when they promise, finish when they promise, and charge a fair price. They are true gentleman and look after your home as if it was their own. I will always use Rocca for any future projects.

Fil (owner of Rocca Tile) provides a rare combination of great customer service and high quality work. He did a great job on our master shower. He showed up exactly when he said he would and did exactly what we agreed to. He made great suggestions throughout the process to potentially improve the outcome, but never focused on how to get more money out of us. I am a do it yourself project person who is skeptical when it comes to hiring contractors to work in my home, but I would do so again in a heartbeat with Fil and his helper Javier.

Very good work, pays attention to detail, replaced glass backsplash with marble backsplash. I would highly recommend.

Fil and his crew did an excellent job remodeling my bathroom; tile from flor to ceiling, floor tile, new plumbing and sink installation. He and his crew were prompt and professional, starting two days after Christmas. Condo is a historic building that had hidden issues related to previous renovation. Schedule was impacted by unanticipated changes, but the crew worked until everything was completed. Cost was reasonable, too include a change order for an emergency repair unrelated to the bath remodel. Fil was responsive to my questions and provided cost saving recommendations. I will definitely use Rocca again!

We had a shower pan that developed a leak and had to replace the whole master bath tile shower. Fil and Javier did a great job, I would definitely hire Rocca again. Fil is a true craftsman with tile, he takes his time and makes sure the project is done right. Beautiful work.

Perfect. Great experience. I would not only use them again, but I now consider Fil a friend. Great guy. I will be hiring him again for my next project at our new house.

Excellent job at reasonable price.

Excellent. From our initial encounter I knew Fil was a professional, and I was not wiling to risk a cheaper contractor or tile person in order to work within a historical house such as this one. He found out there had been no shower pan installed, and that the shower frame in and of itself was rotten. I saw the damage and I am truly glad that I called him. I have full confidence in his work and his knowledge of the business.The tile was superbly installed from the ground up.

I designed the entire project, myself, and used travertine tile for the first time. As I am a perfectionist I also bought all of the tiles, from several different stores, and had them ready for installation. Fil knew exactly what was to be done and I could not be happier with the job. At one point I did not like the tile that I had requested to be used to line the back of a soap and shampoo niche .Fil had no problem ( as it was still somewhat fresh) removing and replacing with another tile. Fil, is very easy to work with. The shower looks fabulous and I am now waiting for the glass doors and windows to arrive

I couldn't be happier with how my shower remodel went. Both with the end result and my decision to go with Rocca Tile. The following factors are what let me to go with Rocca Tile. 1. Promptness. Emails, phone calls, text messages were always returned quickly. 2. Honesty. Several contractors tried to create a false sense of urgency by lying about the "risks" I faced by not fixing the show immediately. Fil gave me straight answers about what further damage I was risking by not acting now, and more importantly what I was not risking.. (no... my floor wasn't going to cave in tomorrow if I didn't fix it ASAP!... as others had said) 3. Knowledge. Fil was best able to articulate what I needed to have done, what he was able to do, and how he was going to do it..... better than anyone else. 4. Good sense of humor. Hey.. that counts for something right? At the end of day, Fil and Rocca Tile completed the job ahead of schedule, at the price we agreed on (no nickel and diming me for extras) , and with a high level of craftsmanship. I've included before and after photos as well.

Fil and Javier do excellent work, I'm thoroughly satisfied with their high quality workmanship. They kept everything clean and protected while they worked. Fil and Javier are good, hardworking people who care about the work they do and making sure their customers are happy. I will most definitely use them again if I have another tile project and would highly recommend them.

Price was perfect and he managed to swing by and complete the work in time for my big Halloween party!!

It was great! Work started on the date promised. Work is high quality and very beautiful. Coordination for scheduling and picking up materials was flawless. I was worried about leaving my dog at home while work was going on. Fil became great friends with my dog and even took him on some walks. Not only is the work priced fairly, done in a timely manner, high quality and beautiful, but Fil and Javier are pleasant, professional and trustworthy. I've already contracted them for additional work and will do so in the future. This review encompasses two projects, both in two bathrooms.

I should start by saying that Fil was very professional throughout this entire experience. Unfortunately, the quality of the work was very low. I'm not really sure why my experience was different from all the other reviewers, but here's my story. I had my kitchen backsplash done by Fil and his employee. The end result looked terrible and quite unprofessional. Most of the tiles were uneven and protruding out from the wall. He came back a few days later to take a look, but told me that it was because my drywall was uneven. I don't doubt that, but I needed him to have told me this while he was doing the project, not after he was done. To his credit, he came back a third time and took the backsplash down for me. He gave me some money back, but only half. So between the materials and his costs that I didn't get refunded, I paid about $265 for a wall with no tiles on it. I hired another contractor later, Julio Barrios of Craftsman South, and he got the backsplash perfect. All in all, just very disappointed by the work from Rocca Tile.

I called the top rated tile company on the list and they were closed while everyone in the company went on vacation. So I called Rocca instead and I'm glad I did. Fil and his crew are outstanding. They did a beautiful job on our bathroom after a cracked tile in the shower rotted out part of the subfloor. Completely rebuilt the subfloor and shower, retiled the entire room, even did a little plumbing work. We got a nice basketweave tile pattern for no extra charge. We had to lose an ugly blue 1990's era jacuzzi and Fil found us a replacement for 1/3 of retail price. They did more than what they promised for the price they promised. You can't ask for better than that. Highly recommended. (BTW, cost of service is a total guess as I have no recall of what it really cost but I can't enter "don't remember").

The guys did a great job. We had no trouble and the install looks great. I would use them again in the future and recommend them to friends.
