My old 35 year old kitchen was in terrible condition.  After a lot of research, I found a kitchen design I liked and ordered my kitchen cabinets from IKEA.  I needed to find a company with IKEA cabinet experience to install my new kitchen.  I found Regents Renovation online and met with BJ Kerr, their project manager.  BJ reviewed my kitchen plans and pointed out some problems that need to be resolved. BJ coordinated the entire project and made my dream kitchen a reality.
This was a 3 month long, complex project.
Not only did we get new cabinets, but the entire layout of the kitchen was changed as well. Regents elevated the ceiling, created a new peninsula by cutting out the dining room wall which also needed to be bumped out 3 inches to allow room the new cabinets.  The sink was relocated from back wall to window wall.  They replaced one old window with a wall of windows.  Appliance locations were moved as well.  Drywall was replaced, tile backsplash was added and new laminate flooring was installed.     The subcontractors Regents utilized exceeded my expectations.  Their carpenters added custom touches to make my new cabinets look built-in.  The electricians installed switches, pendants, in cabinet and under cabinet lighting and wiring for new appliances.  The plumbers moved water pipes for new sink, refrigerator and dishwasher locations.
I would highly recommend Regents Renovation, particularly if you are getting IKEA cabinets,  The only unpleasant experience I had was when another Regents project manager who was going to take over my project due to BJ's very busy schedule. This project manager and I seemed to have conflicting personalities.  Gratefully BJ agreed to continue on as the project manager to complete my project.

After deciding to redo our 34 year old kitchen and several months of trying to find a design I liked, I finally found a kitchen video on the Internet that I liked. I used IKEA's online kitchen design software to configure the cabinets and place my cabinet order. I then had to find a contractor who shared my vision, who I felt comfortable working with and who had the expertise to make my dream kitchen a reality. After interviewing several potential contractors, I selected Regents due to their extensive experience installing IKEA kitchens. BJ Kerr from Regents also found flaws in my IKEA design that would have caused serious issues but with Regents help, solutions were found to accomplish the desired design configuration. This required bumping out the wall between the kitchen and dining room by several inches and making a thin wall behind an upper cabinet on that wall. The ceiling was elevated to allow taller kitchen cabinets, the dividing wall became a partial wall opening up the kitchen to the rest of the house. A wall of windows was added and the sink position was moved from back wall to the window wall. A peninsula was added. Glass tile backsplash to the ceiling. Regents did custom work to make the IKEA cabinets appear to be built in. Electrical was moved and track, pendant, interior cabinet and under cabinet lighting was added. Plumbing was moved to acomodate the new sink, dishwasher and refrigerator locations. The floor vent was moved and became a toekick vent instead. Regents has very skilled craftsmen who are a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them. Many thanks to BJ Kerr, Fabian, Jose, Edgar, Angel and Anthony. You are the best!

They did the preparation and installation of the kitchen. They were very good with their price, quality and service. I will use them again.
