I used to think that people that said "I wish there was a grade lower than F that I could give" were being overly dramatic, but now I get it. Please DO NOT do business with these people. We had an absolutely horrendous experience that still isn't over, because we now have to shop around for someone to "fix" their error. If you order a custom door from them, do not be deceived into believing you will actually get a door. We came in with a picture of what they wanted -- a beautifully stained custom door. They said they could do it, but they didn't install so we would have to hire an installer. Fortunately, they gave us a list of installers they recommend. We hired one and started the process in mid-October. We were told that it would take "about four weeks" to get the door and have it installed. If the date shows on this review, you can see it is late March and we still don't have a door installed. They didn't finish the "door" until late February. Then, the dropped the bombshell that they weren't actually going to stain and polyurethane it, but rather deliver it as bare wood. They definitely never mentioned that! To add insult to injury, the installer they recommended only installs doors, he doesn't stain and polyurethane. So, we had to find someone would. Further, their recommended installer called and said he was "too busy to install the door." So, we had to find someone that could do that as well. We did, but that is going to cost us $1700 additional. So, now we are looking at more than $10,000 for a door! Their price was high to begin with compared to others we looked at (places that WOULD stain and polyurethane the door for their price), but they had some beautiful doors so we went with them. When you take into account they did not stain and poly the door like the other companies we priced, their price is absolutely outrageous! When I complained to the manager about the fact they never told us they would deliver nothing but bare wood, he was a complete jerk. He implied that it was my fault for not knowing how his company worked (rather than his company's fault for using a salesman that didn't lay out the details). Frankly, I seriously considered rejecting the charge on my credit card and just letting them try to sue me for the cost of the door. I think I would have been within my rights to do so, as they never delivered what they promised. Unfortunately, after waiting for five months for a door, I was too tired to start the process again. I haven't seen the door yet, so I can't comment on quality. Let's hope installation goes better.

I can't imagine worse service.  We did a major renovation that included adding french doors to the basement, a wine cellar door and a new entry door for the basement.  The original order was either mislaid or simply lost.  As we were expecting delivery, the contractor called to see when delivery would be and he was told they hadn't been ordered.  They agreed to expedite the order after we (at the recommendation of the contractor) agreed to a different door, that was in stock.  On delivery a few days later, we determined that the doors were wrong.  They swung in rather than out, as was ordered.  A second delivery of the french doors was also wrong.  Finally they delivered the doors, but they were again wrong.  The contractor had carpenters on site modify the door to "make it work".  
The wine cellar door was fine.  But the door to the basement was again wrong when it was delivered (late).  Instead of being a left-swing door, it was right.  Again, the contractor had to have his folks fix Randall Bros problem.  Again, the item that was delivered was wrong.
Randall Brothers clearly has major quality control problems on the sales side.  I should point out as a positive, that the delivery guys were friendly and helpful.  I can only sympathize with them having to drive all over Atlanta delivering incorrect products then having to again travel to collect the bad stuff and redeliver.  The quality of the doors appears fine, although the french doors had cheap plastic stays in them that broke almost immediately.

Couldn"t be happier

I like that they are a neighborhood shop and recognized me. I like that you can go into their shop and choose the door that they will make for you in a weeks time. One of the doors the we got had a nick in it. We brought it to their attention and they made us a new door in a weeks time. Good customer satisfaction is what you get.
