PV Heating, Cooling and Plumbing

My house is divided into 2 zones for AC/H--upstairs and downstairs--all controlled by a single motherboard in the attic. When the downstairs failed, during the hottest week of the summer, PV technician ERIC E. responded within hours. We thought the problem was fixed according to the thermostat and PV's diagnosis, but 24 hours later we had the same problem. Eric was back within an hour of my call. Given that our system is uncommon and difficult, he did another diagnosis and consulted PV experts at office. He and a the determined attitude of a champion athlete when he told my wife and I, "I'm going to get this straightened out." We just let him work, but we could over hear his consultations, and we let him go through the house however he needed to see the hardware. And by the end of the business day, he in fact had it working as intended. My wife and I found the company's response and his professionalism to be the best of anyone who's worked on our house for any problems!

Jacob Cason came out to help us with an hvac issue and he was incredibly helpful, kind and explained everything to us. I highly recommend calling PV and request Jacob, he was amazing!

jacob did great but system's cooling a little slower than it was before it broke yesterday not sure whats up but he says to give it some time... ill edit this tomorrow but for now the thermostats arent going down not even 1 degree so, pretty disappointed an hour and a half after service i would expect at least 1 degree cooler. service was same day which was nice but it cost $600 which is triple 3x the price of another company i wont name but a competitor who drained my AC drip pan last year for $175

Total was 3k for my hvac job and the customer service was legit. They sent three men to my property and continued to shed then if I ran into any issues while fixing the issues. They worked in a team and got it all done within one week and on time.

I can't say enough about PV Heating & Air! Our air quit working when we got home from work and PV had a technician there within the hour. His guy came after work, on his way home and repaired our unit. That is above and beyond customer service. I will never use anyone else. We cooled off in no time. Quote the non emergency repairs. I told them I wanted a UV light installed on the initial phone call. Thatâ s also my fault for not getting a quote but after he left, I found the light on Amazon for 375 so then they charge me 700 to install it Iâ m sorry but $700 to install a UV light that took him less than an hour to install. is a little bit steep but I donâ t have the time to take off work and have somebody else come and install another one. My total bill was just over $1100 for the UV light and inspection.

Weâ re new to Atlanta and after researching various HVAC maintenance companies online weâ re thrilled with PV Heating & Air. The person who answers their phone and calls us about scheduling is always polite, cheerful and they always answer right away. Itâ s easy to schedule appointments with PV Heating & Air and theyâ re wonderful about sending reminders and appointment confirmations and letting us know when theyâ re on their way 30-40 minutes in advance. In addition to PV Heating & Airâ s wonderful office staff, their heating and air technicians are all top notch! Theyâ re prompt, courteous, highly skilled and experienced, and they clearly and happily answer all my questions. I also LOVE how they never try to get us to replace equipment unnecessarily. Our entire HVAC system is original to our 1984 building, so itâ s 38 years old! Just the same, it still works great with PV Heating & Airâ s annual maintenance checks: AC inspection in the spring and Furnace in the fall. They could try to sell us on replacing these units with new ones that cost several thousands $$$. Instead we pay a very competitive annual maintenance fee for twice/year inspections and cleaning, including a new air filter, all of which we would still need to do annually with a brand new system. The entire team at PV Heating & Air is magnificent! Thanks so much for your reliability, honesty & skill in keeping our 38 year old HVAC system in great shape, even after years of neglect by the previous homeowners. We called several different companies to get an estimate for repairing our non-working furnace. We hired PV because of their professional, customer service oriented interactions. Ultimately, we decided to replace, rather than repair, our 25 yr old furnace and AC unit. The estimator provided four different units at various price points for us to consider. We did our own research on the units that were offered and the price estimates, and checked out third party reviews on PV's reputation, and then booked them. They came out two days later on a Saturday and did the install. We have been happy with the work and all our interactions with the various members of the team all down the line.

I was scheduled quickly. The service person was efficient, polite and explained the issue and solution. Even provided potential issues that may arise. Very knowledgeable.

PV Heating & Air was recommended to help us solve an issue created by off gassing from the spray foam insulation installed in our home's attic. Jason (co-owner with his brothers) and James came out to assess our home. They explained that solving indoor air quality problems can be tricky since sense of smell varies among individuals. Based on their assessment, Jason and James recommended installing an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV), a whole house dehumidifier, and a whole house HEPA filter system. They both answered our many questions. It took a few weeks for the equipment to come in, but James kept us informed. James came out with the installation crew the first day. Rod and Omir worked tirelessly to install the equipment and were extremely friendly and professional. David (who is another of the three brothers who own the company) came out to verify everything was installed correctly and took time to answer our questions. He also patiently explained how the equipment worked. The crew cleaned up completely once they were finished. It has been a little over a week since the work was completed. We no longer smell the off gassing odor. Additionally our attic is now less humid and more comfortable even though it was not bad before compared to a traditional attic. We are now in process of working with PV Heating & Air on options for our air conditioner which appears to have a freon leak based on history before PV Heating & Air started work. Our experience left us feeling they know what they are selling and doing, are very responsive, and execute on what they propose. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Steve was very knowledgeable and walked me through my options. Final price charged was directly in line with the estimate received when agreeing to proceed to having someone come onsite.

Have worked with PV on 2 occasions, new furnace in 2015 and new AC in Nov 2020. All on all a great experience...from installers to biannual service folks. The only issue was the initial furnace estimator, whom I believe to be an owner. He made some derogatory comments about my basement, pushed a hot water heater that was not needed at the time, and was not as customer centered as I would have expected. The price for the furnace was a bit better than a couple of others, so I overlooked the interaction. Very happy with the install and the service to date. Fast forward to 2020, needed AC replacement, came back to PV. Completely different experience with the estimator...very knowledgeable, helpful, and considerate. Again, another great install experience. Crews in both cases have been very courteous and respectful of my property. I would definitely recommend PV for you HVAV needs.

Brian, Tyler and Eric as well as the other experts that came by whose names are escaping me were all super helpful, encouraging, thorough and supportive for the big undertaking of replacing my entire HVAC and ducts system.
