I arrived at the property at 9am (it's a rental, I do not live there). The office called me at 9:20 and told me their technician had to go out of town for an emergency and they would send someone at 11am. He showed up at 11 and began to work on the kitchen drawers. He left at some point to make a home depot run. I was there until 2pm when I had to leave. He was still working on the kitchen drawers. He said to me that the drawers had turned into a nightmare (not contributing to my confidence level in having this job done correctly). So I was there for 5 hours. He returned the next day to finish the drawers. Thankfully my tenant didn't mind me not coming over again since I had to work that day.
The drawers are and quot;fixedand quot;. One of them is still slightly crooked but at least not falling out anymore, one seems to be fixed although it takes a little jerk to get it to open and close, and the third drawer was not touched.
Next time I will call someone who specializes in carpentry to make a repair like this.
When I called the office to pay, I was told the total charge was 244.17. I expressed my dissatisfaction and she took 30 minutes off the bill, which means I paid around 207.00. Seems just a bit much. Like I said, I wish I would have called a carpenter.
The invoice I received said that the drawers were fixed and the bathroom fan was fixed. I am having to supply these invoices to a potential buyer so I had to ask for a corrected invoice that left the fan off. The woman I spoke with at the office said she was basing the invoice off of the requested repairs, not on what was actually done. What ?? This sounds like really bad business practice to me.
I will not be using this company again.
