Peachtree Decorating

John Cox and Lalo (not sure of the spelling) did an amazing job!  I saw some reports they did on Angie's List so I called John and I could tell from the first phone call that he was a nice person and that he knew what he was doing.  I bought a house and wanted to take down the wallpaer in the kitchen and dining, and then paint both of those and one bedroom.  I wanted to do it quickly so I could move in quickly.  John and Lalo met me at my house right after I closed and were ready to work.  They got the job done in the amount of time they told me.  The final price was pretty much what John told me but because they didn't end up having to take all the wallpaper down, he reduced the price!!  I thought the price was VERY reasonable.  I actually still can't believe he didn't charge me more.  The quality of the work was outstanding.  They made sure it was done right.  John told me if I ever saw anything that wasn't done correctly that he would come back over and fix it.  John always answered the phone, always called me back, always showed up when he was supposed to, and always did what he said.  John and Lalo both have the expertise to do a great job.  Not only that but John was so nice that he cut down some limbs that were near the carport for me.  Also, they had some extra trim paint so they painted the baseboards in the dining room because they said they looked a little yellow - they did not charge  me for this at all.  Also, instead of making me buy all the primer I needed, John used some left over primer from another job.  I literally cannot say enough nice things about John and Lalo.  They were great and I would definately use them again. I have also already recommended them to a friend.  You will not regret calling John!

Everything was done quickly and cleanly. No complaints. All work was done in Summer 2007.

I contacted John Cox along with 2 other companies to provide me with an estimate to paint my loft. John was very responsible and was able to come out and provide an estimate within a day or so and work with my schedule. My loft has 23 foot ceilings and 1 of the other companies that I contacted immediately refused to do the work citing that they did not have the appropriate ladders, etc. John provided a reasonable estimate and was extremely helpful in helping me pick out paint colors, even recommending what he thought works best in a rental property. John was also able to start the job within a few days which was terrific because I was putting the loft back on the market to rent and wanted to finish the painting quickly. John and and his assistant arrived when promised, did an EXCELLENT job painting, completely cleaned up and even brought their ladders back in after I mentioned that I would like to rehang a large wall hanging. I tipped John for the extra work, but was so pleased that he was so responsive and helpful. John also called and followed up a few days after the job was complete to ensure that I was still happy and offered to come out and touch up anything if needed. There was no need to call. They did a very good job, were very professional, timely, friendly and did was they said they were going to do. I would highly recommend Peachtree Decorating without any reservation. I plan on using them again when I have my next painting project. Hat's off!

John and his team were more than accommodating in meeting my deadline (even finished earlier than expected!), and went way, way above & beyond my expectations! Wonderful to work with!!!

John Cox (the owner) and his assistant painted my 2 rooms and hallway in less than one day, which I thought was very fast. They were also very neat and did nice work. I received other quotes, including one quote from a contractor who wanted to repair the slight imperfections in my plaster walls prior to painting (at a much higher cost and for 3 days), but I didn't think it was necessary and decided to choose Peachtree Decorating. John was very southern/folksy and was happy to answer all my questions. He also gave me a "cat tree" from a relative of his who no longer needed it. I had just rescued a cat and didn't have one, so we both appreciated his thoughtfulness.

When I contacted the guy, he was very sharp and knowledgeable. He went to the paint store and got the paint. He was done when he said he would be done.

The results were excellent. We were perfectly satisfied. John is a true professional. He is also very cordial and polite. He also provided me with a senior discount.

This painting crew was very professional. They did such a very good job. They were on time, they said they were going to be here at 10 o'clock and they were here. The job was done very well and I have no complaints.

John missed our first appointment. I called him and he came over right away. I think in general, he just did not come across as a professional. I mean, he came right over after he realized he missed our appointment and he was very nice.

I am very satisfied with them and the services they have provided for me. They were here on time and the fact the contractor himself came in and checked the work after it was done was very professional.

John was quick and thorough with his estimate (everything was priced in a line-item fashion, which made it easy for us to add / delete rooms or parts of rooms). He was reasonable and easy to work with. His crew (one other person, occasionally two) was professional and friendly.

John and his assistant are extremely professional. The job took two coats of paint to the walls. They also painted a popcorn ceiling. There was minimal molding but five doors included. The job was very well done. He told me that if I found any errors to call him and he would gladly come back to fix. I did not see any. This contractor has to be one of the most professional contractors I have ever dealt with. They not only did a bang up job with painting but also did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I would definitely hire again,.

They were clean, neat, and professional. The price was good.

Great! John and his worker Lallo fit us into their tight schedule (even working on the weekend) and helped us get our new house purchase ready for move-in. Highly recommend!

John was always very responsive and also very flexible in working with us and our contractor. He ended up having to come out and do more touch-up work than initially anticipated, but was very accommodating to our schedule and needs. I would definitely use him again.

I came out of all this with a good impression of John Cox, his professional attitude, and efforts to follow-up with me. However, I would recommend anyone contacting Peachtree Decorating to deal directly with them, and not use this other sub-contractor that does overflow work when John is too busy.

John was very reliable throughout. He was on-time for the appointment to provide an estimate, provided a good description of paint selection and other issues, and he and his crew arrived exactly as promised for the work. The minor repairs and painting were excellent, and since three people were involved it was completed more quickly than he had predicted. John offered to return later to make any needed further adjustments after the paint had completely dried, but that was not necessary.

It was a pleasure to watch John and Ben paint my house. They are truly professional painters and make it look easy. They did an excellent job, were pleasant to have around and neat. I got three estimates. Their estimate was not the most expensive, but not the cheapest either. They called and came when they said they would. The work took a little longer than first estimated but not a lot. They were flexible about all aspects of the work and repeatedly assured me their priority was my satisfaction with the job. They offered numerous times to come back if I noticed any problems and they would fix them. I haven't had to take them up on that offer. Having painted myself, many times and having had painters who were not really painters paint my house to get it ready to sell, I can't say enough about what a pleasure it is to have truly professional painters paint my house. I plan to call them again when I'm ready to do the next room(s).

John and Ben are great. They work efficiently and neatly. They removed the popcorn on the ceiling with very little mess. John is very customer friendly and returns to make any corrections/changes without any issues.

John and his colleague, Ben, were great; polite and pleasant, and most importantly, meticulous in their work. They explained things as they went along, which I found very helpful. I would definitely recommend this company.

John Cox was accommodating to our schedule and requests (including minor requests made in the middle of the job). He and his team performed good work at a fair price. We will certainly contact Peachtree Decorating when we are in need of additional interior painting.

They were always responsive, courteous, friendly, professional and most of all very accommodating to my schedule. I purchased my own materials and they were always good to give an accounting for materials used (without me having to ask). I have a couple of follow-up items but I am highly confident that these items will be handled to my complete satisfaction. I have another area of my business that needs painting. I am not considering anyone else at at the time. Depending on my budget, it will either be Peachtree Decorating or I'll do it myself. I recommend them.
