They were fantastic! He is really nice. The project did take a little bit longer because we made changes and they had a conflict. Overall, I was satisfied with the service. They did a beautiful job and the sun room looks great. They are high quality.

We were referred to Parkman by friends who had used Parkman in the past.   Jack Norman, the President of Parkman, provided us with a detailed estimate of what needed to be done and the estimated cost.   While we had the estimate of another contractor for a lower cost, we felt so comfortable with Mr. Norman that we decided to engage him to do the job.   Our confidence in him was not misplaced.  When the work began, he kept in constant contact with us and made sure the job was going well.   He has worked with a number of his sub-contractors for many years, and we came to like almost all of them very much.   Most were all very professional in their work.    Mr. Norman was very fair with respect to draws for work done; he told us that he preferred to stay behind us, not ahead of us on payments, and that was reassuring.   When problems arose, he dealt with them head-on and resolved them, to our satisfaction.    Some of our friends who had undertaken similar projects had very bad experiences with their contractors.    This was not the case with Mr. Norman or Parkman; the work was done in an excellent manner and we are very happy with the result and with his services.

Jack and Lesley Norman are the owners/operators of Parkman Properties, Inc.  I was referred to Parkman Properties, Inc. by a trusted friend to do a total kitchen/breakfast room/laundry room/home office renovation.  From the moment I spoke with Jack and Lesley Norman, I knew they were the right contractor team for my job.  Lesley understood the exact layout and color coordination I wanted and brought all the perfect samples of cabinet, granite, tile, back splash and paint that I described to her.  She went to work immediately to come up with the plans and drawings for each of the rooms.  She also assisted me in picking out each new appliance, lighting and back splash design and all within my budget.  The entire project took 10 weeks from beginning to end, which is the exact time I was told up front the project would take.  They coordinated everything perfectly and each group of people from the demo crew to the cabinet builders were at my house on time every single day.  I can not express how pleased I am with the job that Jack and Lesley did for me and I have referred them to all of my friends and neighbors.  The renovation is simply gorgeous from floor to ceiling and I wanted to share this testimony with all of the folks who use Angie's list when making a decision to choose a contractor/builder for any renovation job.  Parkman Properties, Inc. is top notch and personally I would give them an A++ for the excellent job they did for me.  I have even spoken with Lesley recently about the possibility of adding a screened in porch off  my back deck in the near future.  A big thumbs up for Parkman Properties, Inc.!!
