General Remodeling
PARBOLD CONTRACTORS BROUGHT IN PAINTERS NOT QUALIFIED. THE PAINTERS USED CAULK THAT HAD SILICONE WHICH COULD NOT BE PAINTED OVER. A SPRAY GUN WAS USED WHICH RESULTED IN MUCH OVERSPRAY THROUGHOUT MY HOUSE. PARBOLD CONTRACTORS MISREPRESENTED THEIR SERVICES AND FEES. FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN A DISPUTE STARTED, THE OWNER DENIED EVER SERVING AS THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR ON THIS PROJECT. ACCORDINGLY, HE REFUSED TO CONTINUE SERVING AS THE MANAGER OF THE PROJECT AND LEFT MYSELF TO ORGANIZE ALL SUBCONTRACTORS AND INSPECTIONS. WHEN I EXPRESSED MY CONCERNS ABOUT THE GENERAL PAINTING AND PRICING FOR INSTALLING THE WOOD RAILS AND SHELVES IN TWO CLOSETS HE HAD TWO OF HIS EMPLOYEES COME INTO MY HOME, WHEN HE KNOWINGLY KNEW I WAS TEACHING AT THE TIME, AND REMOVE THEM FROM THE WALLS AND PREMISES. PLEASE NOTE THAT 75% OF THE INITIAL CONTRACT HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL; 50% WAS PAID PRIOR TO ANY WORK WAS STARTED.
