Overall, it was a very good experience. The young lady I spoke with on the phone was great and called back to talk to me various times about scheduling issues since weather became a factor. The gentleman did the inspection on the same day I called. The estimate was fair and reasonable. They arrived early actually and did the work safely and quickly. They cut the stump down so low that we probably won't even have it removed. There was any damage to the yard at all. We were very pleased with how everything was handled and would recommend them to anyone needing tree removal. They're top notch.

A huge tree in my backyard had several limbs hanging on and over my roof and roots that were growing toward the foundation. I thought it would be necessary to take out the entire tree and that it would be very expensive because of the size of the tree and the proximity to the house. The Northside Tree representative provided a quote for trimming the limbs, and said and that he didn't think it would be necessary to remove the whole tree (although he gave me a price in case I wanted to do that). After a second look, I have to agree. The roots aren't that close to the foundation and don't appear to be a threat. The estimate and then the work were done in a timely manner (I made the decision on 10/18/06, and they were able to schedule the work within a week). They came when they said they would, did a great job and completely cleaned up all the debris. The tree looks great, and I'm so glad I didn't have it cut down.

The estimator and crew all arrived promptly on time. On the scheduled day, the supervisor verified everything that was to be done with us before starting. They had a crew of eight, and all worked fast and carefully. They got the huge branches down without damaging anything. It was scary to watch! They were very professional. They did an excellent job for a reasonable price. They cleaned up all the debris and even cleaned our entire deck, backyard, and driveway. The stump grinder came right behind them and ground the stumps. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

From the estimate to cleanup, Northside Tree Professionals were fantastic and extremely easy to work with! They were professional, prompt, courteous, and competitively priced. They went well above and beyond what was expected and certainly proved to be experts in the field. We had a rather large job, and Northside Tree Professionals got it done in a day with expert coordination and a hardworking crew. Several neighbors also used Northside Tree Professionals to trim and remove trees and even complete a job another tree service left unfinished. We highly recommend them.

I got quotes from 5 companies. Only two companies were professional enough to gain my trust, Northside (the company I used) and 404-cut-tree. I chose Northside because they were a bit less expensive, agreed to repair my cement driveway if the boom truck damaged it (404-cut-tree said that it was my risk), and because Northside offered a 5% discount to Angie's list users (5% of $7000 is $350 -- a lot of money). The only wrinkle in the entire process was that they showed up the day before I expected them, but who knows where the mix up occurred (it could have been me writing it down wrong or something). Otherwise, the crew was professional and skilled. Site cleanup was good, much better than other companies my neighbors have used. They also helped me with my insurance claim by providing me general information about the value of the trees at no additional charge (after the sale). All in all I am very satisfied. Northside is not the cheapest, but provides very good value.

When I could no longer postpone having a bunch of trees removed from my yard, I figured I would call the company used most frequently by my neighbors. I decided to check Angie s list first, and discovered the high level of satisfaction from people who used Northside Tree Professionals one of their arborists, Rick, arrived on time and wrote up the estimate while making suggestions. After agreeing to the work, Rick took the time to explain how to prune a prized Japanese maple in the yard. A crew of nine workers, including three climbers arrived right on time and started working. They had three trucks including a shredder and a Bobcat. They had also contacted Georgia Power to disconnect the power line. I am extremely happy with their professionalism, thoroughness and of course, price ($2,900 for 11 trees completely removed plus the two trims), all carted away and 10 stumps grinded. They have already priced another job for me for next spring.

Prompt service from beginning contact call to end of job. Could not be more pleased with service from the office and work performed in cutting down the trees, grinding down the stumps, and hauling away all debris. Very efficient and clean work. Fair price for the amount and quality of work performed.

Unfortunately this is the 4th time we've used them in 2 years- it's unfortunate because we've had such bad luck with trees dying, but at least when it happens we always know who to call. Northside is far and away the best and we've tried LOTS of different companies. They are not only very professional and a pleasure to work with, but they do excellent work and happen to be the best deal in town. I referred my neighbor to them so they gave us both discounts for coming to work on both of our properties on the same day. If you have to remove a tree, this is the place to call.

I cannot say enough about what a great job Northside did for us. They were over an hour late due to traffic, but immediately got to work. The whole job was finished within two hours. Previous experience led me to believe it would take 7+. PLUS: They layered plywood across my yard and drove the crane directly up the hill (yard severely graded). They brought 6-8 workers, each to perform different jobs. Some trimmed trees while others cut up the sections of the main tree as it was removed. A Bobcat was used to take away the largest pieces and the smallest were chipped. They then used rakes and blowers to clean the entire yard of the resulting debris. They even hauled away pieces of the tree that had fallen a few days ago and were stacked up by the house. CONS: They did minimal damage to the yard (only two gouges). Hardly enough to get upset about.

Very good work, completed quickly and cleaned up very well. Very good price too. I highly recommend Northside Tree Professionals. I'd use them again.

They removed tree and stump also cleaned up the debris, they did not damage any shrubbery, brickwork or neighbors yard. Took my breath away. They were very professional on the premises. Their cost was considerably less than another company I received an estimate from.

I was very pleased with the work of Northside. Many of the trees removed had to be lifted over the house by crane and with the exception of some minor gutter damage, was performed without any problems. They did an excellent job of clean-up and even picked up some existing piles of brush.

The person giving the estimate was on time, as was the work crew. The crew was large, maybe eight guys, so they finished in about an hour, very fast.

They came when they said they would for the estimate--which was below others--they said they price 5% less than 404 cut tree, which was the other A rated company on the list. They performed all work on time, did some extra small things for no charge and were very nice. Very happy with the work overall.

Overall the expereince was very good. They showed up as scheduled and on time. Their work was very competitive, fast and complete. They cleaned up very well. When we originally called for a quote, asking them to come out the next day, they did an excellent job in accommodating us. We indicated our intention of going with them, and they were to call to schedule the work. We had to call a couple of times to get this done, but after the second call they responded very well.

The quote request was prompt. The workers were on time. The job was finished quickly. The cleanup was complete.

THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS, PROMPT, AND WHAT I LIKED MOST IS THAT THEY GAVE ME EXCELLENT ADVICE. THEY TOLD US TO LEAVE SOME TREES. THAT TURNED OUT TO BE GREAT ADVICE. THEY ACTUALLY COULD HAVE MADE MORE MONEY, BUT THEY GAVE US ADVICE.

THEY DID IT QUICKLY WITHOUT MESSING UP ANYTHING. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO. IF THEY COULDN'T MAKE IT WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO BE HERE, THEY WOULD CALL US. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THIS IS A VERY MESSY JOB, AND THEY DIDN'T MAKE IT SEEM LIKE IT. THEY WERE CLOSE TO THE HOUSE AND DIDN'T DO ANY DAMAGE.

Called me back promptly. Came out and provided an estimate. They came out the day and at the time they said they would and took care of the tree. They worked quickly and raked and cleaned the area. Very impressed with their professionalism!

The crew was exactly on time. The entire crew was very professional. The trees were taken down with military precision. They cleaned everything up and stayed true to the estimate.
