I called on Tuesday morning to schedule an estimate, and Mark, the owner, came out to give me an estimate the same afternoon. I got two other estimates, and his was lower by a LARGE margin. Once I called back to confirm that I wanted them to do the job, they were able to come out the next day to do the work. The crew arrived at the scheduled time and completed the work quickly and completely. They cut the tree down in sections, then used a small Bobcat-type loader with wide turf tires to haul the pieces to their truck. After numerous trips back and forth to the truck, the grass was matted down, but there were no ruts, and the turf should recover easily. They even cleaned up the loose bark, etc. with leaf blowers before they left! Overall, I could not be more pleased with the quality of their work; they scheduled the job so quickly that I almost couldn't get my gardening supplies out of the way in time; and the price was so much lower than their competitors that I still wonder if they made some miscalculation!

Dennis gave me a fair and honest estimate right from the start. He didn't try to upsell me on services that I did not need. We've been in this house for a little over 8 months and the trees had gotten messy over the years due to lack of care and pruning. 3 massive oaks needed limb removal for safety and clearance of pool and roof as well as removal of dead limbs. The crew was swift, efficient and very neat with limb disposal and cleanup. They made sure I was satisfied after each tree was near completion. We are thrilled with the results! Our property looks cleaner and has opened up other areas of our landscaping to new sources of sun! Will most definitely refer them to others and use them for all our tree needs.

Dennis was very professional when quoting the job and crew was timely and efficient. This is the second time I have used these guys and would likely use them again. Price was fair considering the size of the trees. A very professional outfit overall.

This experinece with Northside Tree Service was a very positive one. . Initial call for estimate was returned within 24 hours as well as acknowledgement of email from website. The estimate was provided at time of visit rather than at a later time through email. Arrived as scheduled and work completed in the timeframe quoted. Overall a very positive experience.

I called this company just after the holidays and the message said that although they weren't working that week, they would do estimates and return calls, Never heard anything back from that call. Called after the first of the year and set up an appointment with Dennis to come out and provide an estimate for some tree pruning. Well, he never came nor did he call to tell me the wasn't coming. Nor did they return my call asking why they didn't come. Think I will just use my cheaper, dependable landscaper since this company lacks professionalism.

Northeast Tree Professionals did an outstanding job pruning and removing trees on our property. They provided top notch service at a very competitive price. We hired them to remove three trees removed and prune over a dozen others. The work quality was great and their customer service level was outstanding. They made it a point to ensure we were satisfied by staying in communication with us throughout the job and then completed a property walk-through when they finished to ensure we were fully satisfied. Northside Professionals were professional in every sense of the word. They arrived with a full contingent of vehicles and equipment and had a very large crew. This was a very large job and it took them all day. They were not the lowest bid I received but they were not the highest either. I liked that Dennis showed up on time for our estimate....it showed me he was considerate to his customers. He also worked us into his schedule so we only waited three days before we got the job completed. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and use them again in the future.

I got 7 quotes for removing a tree and this was by far the best one. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves very nicely. If I ever need any tree trimming again, I will call them first!

They did a great job. We did not have to wait long for them to come out. I spoke with them on Friday and they were able to come out on Monday. I had received three quotes and they were the lowest bid.

We were not disappointed. Excellent, friendly, professional service. The whole group came on time and surgically removed/pruned the trees. I had done some pruning myself prior of some other trees and they even chipped those branches at no extra cost! The maple was far and away the most difficult since it rose more than 40-50 feet off the ground and had to be pruned all the way back to about 10 feet off the ground. Being on the backside of the house and over the deck, it seemed far and away the most difficult, but Northside's crew knocked it out with no collateral damage. Very impressed.

Great service. The workers were extremely thorough and careful. Their estimate was the lowest out of 4 companies that I contacted. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to a friend!

We will use Northdise Tree again for sure. Dennis (who gave the quote) was excellent - very knowledgeable and insightful about our yard. Their quote was reasonable, and the crew was awesome. Will led our crew - ask for him! They even removed a dead tree they found in the way back part of our yard. We highly recommend them for professionalism, punctuality, price and performance.

The entire experience was great. Dennis was very professional from the beginning through the end. He was prompt & very responsive as we were working through our options. And, once we chose Northside for the work, he continued to be involved. He walked the crew through the vision of what we wanted to accomplish and ensured that they understood the work required. The crew was just as professional - taking care to not disturb any of the existing yard accessories (lights, chairs, etc.). They were clean cut, communicative and very friendly. They cleaned up well after the work was done - not a stray limb or leaf to be found. Excellent experience - we couldn't be happier!

Northside came out and gave us a reasonable quote to remove the trees. Then they came out a few days later to actually remove the trees. They were very professional and cleaned up all of the limbs. I would definitely use them again.

Called for an estimate got voice message. He later returned call. I explained what I was looking for. Sounded like he was calling me while driving down the road. Asked me to text him my address. Really? So I did. He replied he got it. Three days later I haven't heard a thing. Text me, come on really? Get real!!

They called to say that they would arrive to perform the work in the afternoon instead of the morning and called before arriving. They had a crew of six and proceeded to remove the tree. The tree was in the front yard on the property line inside of a 40 foot triangle between two houses and power lines. They perfromed a masterful job and removed all debris. So much so that it is hard to find any remaining pine needles. I filmed the event and watched it last night. Job well done!

We had a dying willow tree in our front yard, close to other landscaping in a tight area, with a wrought iron fence nearby, that made it difficult to get to. I got 2 other bids $750 and $650 for this work. Northside came and gave me an estimate the same day I called. They were the low bid at $450, and they could do the work the next day. I have used Northside before to remove and trim trees. The same foreman, Elmer, estimated and managed the work then. I was very happy before, so I agreed to have them do this work the next day, even though I could not be home to watch it. When I came home, I could not believe what a great job they did. Everything was cleaned up perfectly -- and this was a VERY messy tree, with long thin dead branches falling every where. I highly recommend their work, especially Elmer's professionalism and attention to detail.

Eight large pine trees being removed with a crane was fascinating to watch, including the team of at least ten men handling their assignments. They know their positions, are extremely efficient and they maneuver multiple large vehicles for logs, chip debris, with a bobcat assisting the crane operator and the chipper operator, cleaning up as they work and keeping safety first. They even have a maintenance truck on site dealing with tire pressure, chain saws or any equipment malfunction. They arrived on time and completed this task in a little over two hours. Everyone is courteous and it is understandable how Northside Tree Removal has their position on Angie?s list for multiple years in a row. Mark the owner and Elmer the operations chief are professional business men. I highly recommend Northside Tree Service.

They were very good. They showed up on time, did the work, and cleaned up after themselves.

We were concerned about possible lawn damage, since this was about a 25 inch diameter tree. The contract called for plywood to be placed in the drop area to protect our lawn and our neighbor's lawn. The crew arrived without any plywood. The job was completed successfully without any damage to the lawn, but it was an uneasy experience.

We were very happy with the company. They had a reasonable price for the services. It was a very large tree. The tree had been infected beatles. They had an Arborist come in before the tree came down to investigate why & confirm it was beatles. They had a large crew come out and they made sure to protect our yard. They were able to finish the work in prompt amount of time.
