Excellent. Very attentive to detail. We also had a unique situation. We had our Airstream RV parked in our driveway and Mark came out to develop a strategy that would protect the exterior of our Airstream and provide a safety line for his men as they carried the tree parts up to their mulching truck. Over all excellent job and will absolutely use them again.

Northside was by far the lowest bid we received, after asking for multiple quotes from other companies. The crew showed up on time and were very professional. The work was done in only a few hours and they did a fabulous job. Highly recommended! We will definitely use them again!

We have been delighted with our choice from start to finish, including the initial contact, quote visit, 3-hour work visit, clean-up and follow-up. At all stages, Northside Tree Professional's focus is clearly on customer satisfaction. Telephone communication with their office was no-hassle, where Mark, the manager, seemed to be continually ?on tap? for customer questions. Each call resulted in prompt and straightforward resolution of our question. The synchronization between our clearly itemized work estimate and the onsite work order was considered final only after our review. We were impressed by the appearance, demeanor, cordiality, and professionalism of all participants present for the prompt completion of work. We watched their process performance with interest, and any questions we had were readily and courteously answered. Placement of plywood panels across our lawn to avoid damage by machinery was most appreciated. The price was very competitive, and we would not hesitate to recommend Northside Tree Professionals for their excellence in providing a wide range of tree management and related services.

From start to finish, our interaction with Northside was top notch. We called and received a quote that was thorough, thoughtful and reasonable and when it came time to book the appointment for the work to be done, Mark was flexible and accurate about providing availability, duration for the job etc. The day of the service, the head of our crew, Elmer, took the time to go step by step through the scope of the work with me and the entire team worked efficiently at getting the job done. Elmer walked through the finished job with my wife to make sure we were satisfied and the cleanup was flawless. I wouldn't hesitate to use Northside again in the future and have already recommended them to our next door neighbor.

I was devastated when we found out that we had to loose a tree in our front yard. Northside made it much less painful b/c of the professional work that they did to help us out. First off, someone came by to give us an estimate the same day that I called. After I set up the appt. I had several questions that kept cropping up: stump removal, time procedure takes etc...Even though I called the office several mornings, my questions were answered and I felt calm. On the day of the removal, our workers came on time, did the work in what seemed like record time, and cleaned up every last leaf. I would hire this company in a heartbeat, b/c of the fine work they did with no hidden surprises.

Northside tree arrived on time and did a good job removing a pine tree which had fallen during a storm. They took great care to avoid any damage to some slow-growing shrubs which were within a few feet of the area they were working in - they did a good job.

Estimator was professional and made notes on every detail. When the crew arrived, the supervisor called to let us know they were here and ready to work. He went over each detail on the estimate and confirmed each limb to be cut. The crew did a great job and cleaned up after the work was done.

It went very well. Northside Tree sent enough people to handle this very big job. All worked very hard go get the tree down and to clear all debris. The tree was at least 2 times the height of my two story house and dead limbs had fallen during the last storm. They also removed limbs from another tree that was growing at an angle but the tree itself was in good shape.

Excellent work. Professional, on time, good price. Looks good! Trees are kept in good health.

Great. Returned call promptly, gave excellent detailed estimate, understood what I wanted, were flexible in scheduling, took the exact amount of time they said they would take, did excellent work and cleaned up. People were great to deal with, pleasant, professional, knowledgeable. Crew was fast, no standing around chatting, showed up and were working within 5 minutes. They contract out stump grinding but followed up to make sure this was done timely, which it was, and these folks were excellent also. All in all the best tree work and tree professionals I have ever worked with and I've lived in 11 houses.

The project went well. They showed up when they said they would, did the work they said they would do, and left. There was something noteworthy. I noticed after they finished that one of the falling limbs apparently bounced and hit a dogwood, knocking a decent amount of bark off in the process. I called Northside, and they were very responsive and fair. They hired an independent arborist to come check out the tree. After washing the wound, she gave it a clean bill of health. Northside stepped up and offered that, if the tree dies within the next 2 years, they will replace it. Everyone makes mistakes. Northside recovered very well. Excellent customer service, and I will not hesitate to call them the next time I need tree work done.

Everything went very well. The crew was prompt, efficient, friendly and professional in every way. We were very impressed with how thorough they were in cutting and removing the debris.

Northside came out and gave me a reasonable quote for taking down some tree limbs and removing a dead tree. they were very professional and punctual. They identified an additional large limb with a problem but didn't remove it at the time, much to my frustration. Northside's management handled the issue well, reducing the cost of the second visit in recognition that the limb should have been removed on the first visit. Their staff had the necessary knowledge and they handled a mistake with integrity.

Extremely professional company with very competitive pricing. From the initial cost estimate visit, to the follow-up visit by Mark (to get clarification on how they would handle removing the chase roots since we will be laying sod), to the crew that removed the tree (Wil supervised), to the stump grinding crew - all were professional, knowledgeable, efficient and polite. They actually had the tree down within 15 minutes and cleaned the premises perfectly before leaving. All staff were professional in behavior, cleanliness and dress. I've never seen this level of efficiency - they each knew exactly what their role was and completed the job like clockwork. Will definitely use them again if needed and would refer them to anyone needing this type of work done. Thanks Northside!

Their crew arrived on time and were very courteous. They moved efficiently and were reassuring that the job would be done as outlined on the estimate of services. Cleanup was hurried but adequate. We were pleased with the service and will consider them in the future.

It is an Angie's List company, and we were totally satisfied with the work that they did today. Not only did they come on time, they came a little bit early, and they did a great job. The workers were excellent, they were very professional, and we were very satisfied with the work that they did.

The work crew was prompt, courteous and expeditious. Elmer came out previously to give an estimate. He was very personable and helped us make an informed decision. Elmer saw to it that the job was completed to our satisfaction. The crew came out at 8:30AM and by noon they were cleaned up and done. The stump grinder came out at 3:30PM and by 4:15PM the job was completed. My wife and I were very happy with the whole experience.

Update 5/26/15: I definitely was making my way back to Angie's list to thank Northside, and update my review, that I had received a discount check from Northside, which I thought was very well intentioned, and I was thankful for. I am a little disappointed with the tone of the company response here before I did, though. It sounds way more adversarial than I thought my review warranted. I had merely mentioned that a price for one tree removal wasn't in my budget, essentially. I wasn't complaining about it, and rated just what it appeared to me, which was an average price for removal. I gave A ratings for every other aspect of service. I did not mention the discount for Angie's list customers at checkout. I don't even recall going through the Angie's list website, etc. I just [thought] I mentioned it on the web contact form. Please know that something that rates an average price with great service still gets my business a lot of times. And, that knowing where you are in a pricing scale, does not necessarily warrant a response insinuating that someone should take their business elsewhere if price is important to them. --------------------------------------------- Responsiveness from web contact and through email was great. I thought an additional smaller tree removal price was too much, but I could surely be wrong....(I just didn't want to spend the extra for one I might take down myself). Cleared tree quickly, without damaging brick circle, and cleaned up after themselves. Allowed me to pay with credit after my satisfaction. Though, I do see a 5% Angie's List discount I wasn't offered, even though I think I mentioned in my web contact form, I found them through Angie's list. Altogether pretty decent..

removed two limbs rubbing high in the tree. They hoisted a man up so as not to damage my tree by using spikes. Arrived promptly, did work and cleaned up better than it was started. I have used them before and was very impressed by the low price and professional behavior. All limbs are carefully lowers to ground to avoid any problems. Clean up was impressive as well.

I contacted Northside Tree Professionals regarding the removal of a medium sized silver maple tree in the back yard. A representative from Northside Tree Professionals provided an onsite estimate within 24 hours of my initial contact with the company. Several days later, I contacted Northside Tree Professionals to schedule the removal, which was performed the next day. The crew arrived at the scheduled time. They were professional and courteous. They removed the tree and hauled it away. They left no debris and were very careful not to disturb any other landscaping in the yard. Northside Tree Professionals Inc. is a great company. We have done business with them for years and have never had any problems. They are prompt, courteous, provide reasonable pricing, and do an excellent job with removal and cleanup.

Our big oak tree in the backyard leaned about 20 percent and looked as if it would come down any minute. The tree was so huge and tall that if it fell it would take out our fence and our neighbors cherry tree. We got three estimates and Northside Tree Professionals gave us the most confidence that they would do the work well. Because the tree leaned so much, we were worried about someone climbing up the tree. They provided us a copy of their certificate of insurance showing that it was up-to-date and covered their workers. Their estimated price for taking down the tree, grinding its stump and roots, and removing the grindings was the best we received. They put plywood down so their chipper and bobcat machines would not damage the yard. A person climbed the tree removing canopy limbs as he went up the tree. He and his team lowered each limb by rope to insure safety and that it would not damage the yard. Each limb was swung over to the chipper and chipped up before the next limb was cut. After all the canopy had been removed, the tree person topped the tree and lowered that section also. Then he climbed down the trunk and sawed the tree trunk causing it safely fall. Then they cut up the trunk into sections and used their bobcat to pick up the sections and load them into their truck. After cleaning up some debris they told me that the stump grinder would come in about an hour. Then they picked up their plywood and left with their machines and wood. The stump grinder came on time and ground the stump and roots down about 8 - 12 inches. The next day a smaller team came and removed all the stump and root grindings, smoothed out the area, and finished picking up debris. The Northside Tree Professionals were very efficient, easy to deal with, worked safely, and left the yard looking good. They were true professionals!
