IN THE PAST MONTH THEY WORKED ON TWO DIFFERENT PROJECTS WITH DIFFERENT CREWS. BOTH CREWS WERE FANTASTIC; VERY PROFESSIONAL, CALLED BEFORE THEY ARRIVED, SHOWED UP ON TIME, WORKED AS A TEAM AND MOVED THE PROJECT ALONG, AND LEFT THE PROPERTY CLEAN AND ORDERLY. I HAVE USED THEM FOR YEARS AND NEVER THINK OF USING ANYONE ELSE. THEY GET MY VOTE AS THE BEST TREE SERVICE IN ATLANTA.

I called and asked for an estimate, and had a call back the same day. As I had roofers scheduled for next week, Northside scrambled (no extra charge) and had a full crew out the next day. They took the tree down with ropes, hauled away all the pieces, and did a good cleanup of the roof, sidewalk, and yard. They also removed at no charge an old dogwood that had died in the summer drought. There was a little area of landscaping flattened by the plywood laid down to keep the bobcat treads from tearing up the soil, but really that was the only access route for the equipment. The 35" stump is close to flat and only a few inches high--pretty good saw work! Northside is not cheap--though I didn't get other bids on this job, I've had other companies take down big pines and have an idea of prices. However, this was a large tree with several limbs overhanging the house, and I wanted it done before the roofing job. Northside made it happen and did a great job.

This is the third time I have used Northside Tree Professionals. They have reasonable prices, workers are friendly, and they clean up nicely when they are done. They sent two crews and it is always amazing to watch them work. I recommend them to my neighbors and will continue to use them in the future if needed.

I had a tall pine tree close to my house. It had been hit by lightning a while back and there was a hollow core in the tree, and therefore it had to be removed. I called Northside Tree Professionals because I have used them before and they are, indeed, professional. Next to the target pine tree is underground plumbing for my septic system. I was most concerned about the tree dropping over that area. The crew from Northside took great care in making sure the tree was taken down in the opposite direction of the septic system. After the tree was down, I also had Northside grind the stump... they did a quick, clean and efficient job. I highly recommend Northside Tree Professionals!

I couldn't be happier with Northside. They are truly professionals that are focused on customer service. They came out on time and recommended work that actually saved me from removing some trees I thought would have to go. The work was done on time and the clean-up was superb. The whole process from the quote, to the work being done to the clean-up was one of the more pleasant experiences I have had with a contractor.

Great! They took down the tree, cleaned up and cut vines off of four trees that were being choked out by English ivy. That part was for free because I had asked how to kill the ivy, so they did the work for me. Very nice group. Very convenient.

They arrived when they said they would, went to work and got the job done in a reasonable time. After they completed the job, they cleaned up the limbs and leaves and made sure the driveway and the street were clean. They were friendly and professional. I would definitely use them again.

We have a large heavily wooded lot, and the trees require periodic work, and I've used a variety of companies over the years. Ten or twelve years ago I contacted Northside, and I was so pleased with their work, I've not used anyone else since then.

Estimator Doug was excellent so was the job supervisor Will and the crew. Great group and very good, efficient job.

Everyone was professional, helpful and pleasant to work with...from the gentleman who came to write the estimate to the entire work crew. They arrived on time, did just what I wanted done and cleaned up after themselves. I had three estimates and Northside was the most reasonable too.

I contacted Northside Tree Professionals based on their reputation for excellent work at a reasonable price. They did not disappoint. I was able to schedule them promptly and they came out with a crew of four who worked for over two hours. They did a careful, meticulous job of removing a tree and limbs located very close to two houses. They voluntarily did additional trimming of dead branches to give the trees a cleaner look. Finally, they did an excellent job of cleaning up and removing all traces of their work. I will not hesitate to call upon them again.

Got a quote from several companies and they were by far (like 40%) cheaper than any of them! From the first visit where we received the quote to the actual service, everyone was very professional. I had a couple of simple request and added an extra tree once they were on site and they did not charge me for the request, nor try rake me over the coals for the additional tree. The part that really made this a great experience was that they went above what they were hired to do. On several of the trees that were being trimmed, they went ahead and took off smaller branches that would have been a problem a few years later. They also, after checking with me, trimmed up another tree that was not part of the job. The climber was next to that tree as he was roping off on another and saw it needed to be done. That is the way I wish everyone did business! Fairly priced and then try to give them a dime for their nickel! Keep up the good work and you will always have my business moving forward!

Northside was punctual, affordable, and always in contact about the service they provided. My contact with the company, Mark, was always quick to call and make sure things were set up correctly, and also made sure the job was completed to my satisfaction afterwards. The team that actually did the removal was polite and efficient with their work and did a great job removing the tree safely and without doing any damage to the property. They left the area cleaner than it was when they first arrived as well. I would absolutely hire them again and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to have a tree removed from their property.

These guys were fantastic. They showed up right on time, and the foreman met me out front. We discussed the plan for the job before starting. They had about 10 people working and had all four trees down and hauled away before noon. I was very impressed. They laid plywood down over an area of brick to prevent damage. There was no damage to the property and they cleaned before leaving. They were very professional for the entire job. I would absolutely use them again. Other companies gave estimates twice as high, quoted 2 days of work, and almost guaranteed that our fence or brick would be cracked or broken.

Extremely pleased with Northside. Responded with a quote very quickly, and was the lowest of 3 quotes I received. Work was done on scheduled date with a 5-man crew. Cleaned up with no mess left behind. Work was done in approx 2 hours.

I was very pleased with Douglas and his crew. He was very patient and knowledgeable when I asked him how to trim the tree without damageing it.. They were very good with the clean up. His crew was hard working and very efficient. Even though we were rained out Mark was able to reschedule us during the same week. I really appreciated their professionalism and would call on them again.

It rained on the day that we had originally scheduled and we had to reschedule for the following Saturday. Wil and his crew came at the appointed time and, after reviewing the job with me, they did all the work that they were supposed to (and a little more). As they were removing the large trees with a Bobcat, it started raining and things got pretty muddy. As a result, they weren't able to clean up as well as I wanted but they returned on Monday to grind the stumps and finish the cleaning up.

Fantastic service. The estimate by Doug was really spot on and very detailed, thorough, and timely. The scheduling team was great about providing a window of time that made sense for me and was realistic in terms of the other jobs the team had that day. The service itself was really great. The team was friendly, communicative about what they could and could not do, very efficient and really conscientious about anything falling on or near my deck / house. They did a great job cleaning up and making sure everything was back in place. Finally, they were really flexible with the parking situation. There was another large vehicle on the street but the team was incredibly accommodating about the parking challenges, which was really appreciated as it was out of my control. Overall, a great experience. I'd highly recommend Northside Tree and will definitely use them again.

We called several (at least 5) different companies for quotes ranging from $3000-6000 for this work to be done. From contacting Northside for a quote through the clean up we were impressed with how professional Northside was. We have a large property that was not well kept for many years that needed some serious help including removal of old stumps, 5 gigantic trees too close to the house and a miniforest of trees that needed to be pruned so you could actually see our house. 3 crews arrived exactly when they said they would and our front yard was pruned within the hour. We were shocked at how efficient the crews were in taking down branches and clean up. Our yard actually looked better after they left. Regarding the trees that were removed, they were methodical in taking them down and cleaning up afterwards. They even swept the street clean before they left! We could not have been happier with the entire experience and will definitely be using Northside again in the future.
