Not having a vehicle to pick up the 20 something bales of pine straw we required, this business is perfect. The price is very nice as well. We would probavly use them even if we had the means to pick up the pine straw.

Delivery was quick and easy. Price was very reasonable. Bales were not as tightly packed this year as they have been in years past. Would use them again.

Excellent service, called and got their voicemail that said they try to call back within an hour. They did, and I was able to schedule a delivery for the next day. They gave me a 3-hour window they would arrive in, and they came in the first hour of that window, unloaded quickly and cleaned up.

I used Northlake Pinestraw back in June 2013. They delivered 30 bales as promised -- within the 2 hour window. The bales were stacked nicely. The pine straw was average quality, no better or worse than pine straw from a retail place. Delivered pine straw is definitely the way to go.
I was going to place another order this past Monday, but got a recording that said that she would return the call within 2 hours. I really needed a delivery by the next day, so I placed an order with another company. As promised, she did call back within 2 hours, but was too late for an order. I need to plan better next time so that I can use them again. I like the fact that their pricing is clearly specified on their website. They only charge a $5 fuel surcharge.

Booked service against my better judgment, as I needed
installment after working hours or on Saturday.
Office manager assured me they could work within a lunchtime
schedule. I reconfirmed this with the
office twice and when the call came the day before to confirm service, the same
office manager had no clue about my time slot for arriving – although discussed
several times. I should have cancelled
then. None the less, I took off work and
waited 3 hours. I was told there was one
delivery prior to mine, only 25 bales and was assured of arrival by 12:15. Driver finally called and stated he was 10
minutes out, but he had no idea I was on a schedule and had to leave. No one had communicated my scheduling
concerns. I had a business meeting that day and had to leave, supposedly after
the install. They show up just as I am
about to drive off. I give brief
instructions and hoped for the best. I
came home and the work had been done, but I had the pleasure of going around my
entire yard and uncovering all the plants, ground cover and new bulb growth
that had been covered and deeply mulched.
Frustrated, the owner took no responsibility and stated they arrived

indifferent. Could have cared less if he
lost the business.

"Waited 3 hrs? The 3 hour window she was given the day before was between Noon and 3pm. The previous job did take a little longer than expected and we called to let her know we were on the way. We arrived at 1:10pm which I would consider the early part of the noon to 3pm window. Immediately she started complaining about the time and asked for a discount. We went ahead and completed the job. We did a good job and followed her instructions. Afterward, she started complaining about the job and threatened to write a bad review if we did not give her a discount. We are an honest, hardworking, family owned, customer service oriented company. We are sorry she was unhappy, but her complaints were unwarranted and unresonable and a discount was not given."

After a horrible experience with another company (please see my other review), we had to finish the rest of the pinestraw in our yard. We were wary about trying someone else, but Northlake was very professional. They showed up on time, went over where I wanted pinestraw installed, and got right to work. They were done in about an hour and everything was all cleaned up! We wish we had gone with them first and will definitely use them again. They even fully recommended counting if that would make me feel more comfortable as that is the issue we had with the other company.

The very best pinestraw company in the Atlanta area. Called for price on the weekend and they called me back within 1 hour. The prices, both by the bale and installed are fantastic. They came when they told me they would and they did a fantastic job. I know it's just pinestraw but when I deal with someone this professional and friendly and also has great prices, I gotta tell everyone. GREAT!!!!
