OK. I still had bug problems but I live next to a creek so I'm not sure if any service could solve the problem. They are not allowed to treat the creek.

Since posting this review, the owner of the franchise called me personally. We had a great talk. He explained a few issues surrounding the way my contact was handled, clarifying everything. I appreciated the attention and the explanation.
I now have a much better opinion of this business and its approach to the community. The owner is a credible authority and can be trusted.

Sales people were prompt and responsive to my needs.
Installer was on time and worked with me to make sure that the system fit the way I wanted it.
Three months later, their equipment works as well as it did on the first day.

We were very pleased with the service and found it to be effective. On a few occasions it rained directly after treatment, and the Company came back out and re-sprayed for us.

It did not kill the bugs and Finally they brought out different chemical. The whole thing became a nightmare and couldn't get calls back and my last conversation was yesterday and the man seemed confused. Apparently they do not keep records of problems or concerns.

I had used the service since May 2012 and they have always been quick to respond to any problems (e.g., broken nozzles, adjusting spray times). In April, I received a notice their prices were going up. I checked prices for similar services and this would put them at the highest. When I asked about this, Jay Webb worked with me so their prices would stay in line with these other services. Mr. Webb is professional and very customer oriented. I am very happy with their service and mosquito free!

"[Member name removed], Thank you very much for your feedback. It is always helpful to get unsolicited customer feedback that is honest. Here are my thoughts...It is very difficult to compare services in this industry from one provider to another. I would liken that to comparing Mosquito Control to buying, well, just about anything that is not a commodity. And I can tell you that after years in the business, this is no commodity. Let's use a car as an example. If I made a generic statement that I called Lexus and they are a bad company because they are more expensive than other dealerships, you would agree that it is an unfair statement. That is the way we feel about mosquito control. I do believe in the old adage "you get what you pay for". Now, that being said, we have done our research and we are very competitive with similar providers that are reputable. Anyone that provides this service for less should be a red flag and you should consider the following when interviewing them: Are they licenced? Are they insured? Are they using sub contractors or is everyone an employee? Are they using legal employees? Are they doing a background check on all employees? Are they doing a thorough inspection to identify sources? Are they treating them with a 3 step process? Fogging, repellent granules and standing water treatment. Are they using generic products that bugs do not build resistance to and are less effective? Do the warranty and guarantee their services? I could think of a lot of questions that would differentiate a "cheap" service to what we offer along with some very good competitors in the market. And actually without visiting your home, we really can not provide an accurate quote at all. It is all based on the acreage and foliage covering because every yard is different. Mosquitonix has proven to be completely reliable & proffesional when it comes to the maintence & repairs of our mosquito control system. When we call with a problem they are at our home the very next morning! In addition there is no question that this system works & works well. As long as I am in my own yard there are no mosquito bites but if I take my dog on a walk in my neighborhood I am eaten alive!!

Purchased a large system approximately two years ago at a cost of $7,000 and a monthly cost of $200.00. I had some issues and reported them to the company.
The company called and was clearly apologetic for the problems and has committed to make things right. The manager outlined what needed doing, how he was going to remedy the problem and immediately dispatched someone to take care of it. They sprayed the yard, diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. Although we've had a problem, I am very pleased with the resolution and their action. If every supplier to us was as attentive and followed through as promised, it would be great. The Mosquito Nix guys are absolutely first rate.

MosquitoNix was wonderful. We have a lot of ivy around my house, therefore a ton of mosquitos. In 23 years I've never had a better mosquito free summer. The day that we scheduled the work for, I was away from my house before the appointment about 10 to 15 miles away and my car battery died. Kevin Brown is the tech who was scheduled to treat my yard that day and when I called him to let him know about my battery dying, he drove out of his way and jumped it for me. He then followed me home to treat my yard. He wouldn't even let me offer him any extra money for picking me up. I could not be more appreciative of his generosity. I will definitely use this company in the future. He also assured me that the insecticide he was using was safe for children and pets.

Purchased a coupon for their service from LivingSocial.com for $89. I had looked into mosquito treatments and had some quotes but they wanted >$120/treatment and you had to do it from April through October ... just too much money to commit to. So when I saw the coupon I thought "what the heck, I'll give it a try."
The service tech arrived right on time and promptly put the insecticide treatment in the creek behind my house and along the ground. In addition, he used a backpack blower to spray a mist on all the trees & shrubs where the mosquitos rest during the day. He was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Very polite & professional.
I have not had a mosquito bite since the day he treated and it is great to enjoy our backyard again.
