I live on a hill. A steep hill, with a driveway with such a steep grade that deliveries of equipment and supplies basically require manual hauling of everything up said hill. There wasn't a single peep of aggravation from either Charlie (2005-2006) or Greg (2009), the site foremen. The house is stone, so rennovations of -ANY- kind were going to be challenging -- much less replacing original, casement, metal-enclosed windows. Also, this year, they let the dogs out into the yard -- including the house-training puppy -- while taking extra care to make sure no one escaped! I worked with Tiffany and Kito. They're great people, and speak English as well as Architectese fluently. They listen to the client and present a variety of ideas to address what the client wants. They provide a wealth of information about quality and costs, they happily provide information about variations between proposals and give accurate estimates as to level of work that will be involved. As always, with construction, their cost estimates often run low, however, where usually you add 50% to any estimate, for M.B. it's only about 25%. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. You get FAR more than you pay for.
