Moving
I submitted a detailed list of my property and was quoted approximately $550 for the move, based on the time needed to move what I'd listed. The job took four more hours than they'd estimated and I had to pay an additional $400 before they would unload my things. The reason they underestimated the time was because the movers showed up with a truck that did not have a lift or ramp of any kind so it took much longer to move my items into and out of the truck. I was forced to use them as my window of time to move wasn't flexible. I requested a reduction in price from the president of the company since their truck wasn't mover-friendly, but this man was unreasonable and rude. In addition, their workers tried to force my refrigerator through a doorway which was too narrow, causing major damage to my door facing. My interior door facing in my house was damaged, they're denying they damaged my house. Now and are denying my claim to have it repaired.
