Horrible - there was never any attempt on their part to reach an understanding, they just disconnect the service and had no indication that they would even consider the circumstances of my complaint.
Description of Work: I signed up for this internet service provider last month (Feb) and waas told there was no contract and when they came out to set up the modem, I was charged $39.99, which I was told was my monthly charge. I requested a receipt and was told that I would receive one in the mail with my first invoice. This was never submitted. I had an issue with not being able to have my lapton on line at the same time as my PC, a tech did come out and when I inquired about the service call charge, I was told there was no charge. At the time I scheduled the tech call I was never informed of any call charge. My service was interrupted on Sunday 3/6/2011 and I asked for status on Monday, from my work computer, via email and was told there had been problems in my area and service should be restored. Upon my return home, I still had no internet service and I called my computer guy locally and he determined is was from Mainstreet - I called while he was still there and was told the service had been interrupted because of a payment not being made in the amount of $50.00 for the service call. I had never rec'd any notice of this amount being due. They reinstated service for about 5 hours and again it was interrupted with no notice. I called this morning to end service, and they advised I would be responsible for the balance of the contract, of which I never rec'd a copy. I am totally dissatisfied with the company and the underhanded way they do business.
