Living Intown (LIT) Property Services

The provider has managed my two properties for the past 9 months. IT initially took them four months to find two tenants for my property. The staff turn-over rate is very high and they are very unresponsive and make side deals with the tenants that were not approved by myself. Once they secured tenants within the first three months both of them absconded on their rent and the eviction process started. They use the deposits for cleaning the unit and legal fees which are very expensive, they made unnecessary repairs to the property and add things (i.e. alarm system) and charged me for these property luxuries that were not approved. Even though they supposedly vetted each tenant when they skip out on the rent and find another tenant they again take a commission of 50% of the rent for finding a new tenant when they gave the tenant an unapproved 200 month rental special. When asked to explain these situations they fall back on the fact that they have a high turn-over and can not contact the previous property manager. They refuse to give accurate reporting to Time and Material costs to explain why repairs are so costly. Needless to say they are very unprofessional and I would not recommend this company to anyone, that needs to find a reputable agency to manage large investments.
