Kiwi Carpet Cleaning

It went great, the tech Alex arrived a few minutes before he was scheduled to be here and even called 30mins. prior to arriving. He did a professional job and made sure carpet and any stains were cleaned. He was very courteous and moved the furniture that needed to be. He takes his job seriously and aims to please the customer.

Great job. I have old and sick dog that has served me well for the last 18 years. He does not adhere to house rules anymore; so, I need carpet cleaning more frequently than usual. Each time they have done a great job.

He does a great job, and I don't worry about him stealing anything from me. I had another cleaner come in before and stole some stuff. He does a great job, the whole house, 3 bedrooms, living room, den. He is professional, come in and does it and you don't have to watch him. The carpet looks great. An A on everything.

I have been completely satisfied with the work done. I like their method of cleaning, which is why I have them come back time after time. I also like their policy of coming back to clean your carpets for free within 1 year's time of original cleaning. This incentive helps me keep my carpets in good condition. The technicians are always punctual, pleasant and eager to be of service.

Generally, we have been happy with the service. It all depends on the person who is assigned to your house. Some have been very though and others are not as efficient.

I'd give them a B overall because they were a little pricey. They were consistent and on time. The price was a little high. I found somebody else that I want to try.

I have hired Kiwi on 2 occasions to clean carpets for me. The first time was a specific cleaning of the carpets in my living room, master bedroom and our home office. The cleaning was scheduled for the first available slot (8am-10am). Troy arrived at my house promptly at 8am and had the carpets cleaned and smelling great in no time. He described all the steps that he was doing and was patient when I asked all my questions. I then used Kiwi to clean the carpets in my new home. Again, Lawrence, my tech, was timely and got the job done quickly. He also cleaned an area that I forgot to add to the list at no charge. Great company with helpful techs that do what they are supposed to do when they are scheduled to do it.

The tech arrived at the scheduled time, not at the end of a two hour window. He was courteous, friendly and respectful to me and my home. He informed me of and offered additional services and informed me of how I could receive discounts on future services. Very pleased with his work, will use them in the future and will recommend them to who ever will listen.

They are very professional and returned phone calls and showed up on time for pick up of rugs and drop off - I was not completely happy with the outcome of the rugs - were not as clean as I had hoped. It may be the process they use to clean. I do not blame them however - I think our rugs have to be cleaned with a complete submersion method and possibly they just don't use that method.

I had no problem with it so I can't give you anything bad. They were very polite and did the job that's it. I definitely would use them. They did very good. I would use them again in the future.

It went great! I used them another time after that and plan to have them back again soon. I would recommend them to anyone.

The arrived on time, and worked consistently. The carpet cleaned well. I believe there's opportunity for the chairs to look cleaner. However there were stains that the service provider advised were not going to be removed so I really appreciate the honesty. Overall the service was fine.

After the guy showed up he fumbled around and did nothing. At one point he just left and said he would be back in the morning??? He left his cleaning machine and we figured he was done. I called the main number for KIWI and he showed back up. The whole time this is going on I had standing water on the living room carpet. We had enough and told him to leave and hired another company.

Be warned. I approached this company because they offered a 50% off Air Duct Cleaning on their website, http://www.kiwiservices.com/airduct_sale.htm. I had the and quot;Technicianand quot; survey my house and quote me a price. I then offered the 50% off coupon which was refused after a conversation with the technician's controller, apparently the price quoted included the 50% although no mention was made until I produced it. I then phoned Kiwi and asked for a quote complete with the 50% as offered, I used the technicians house estimate (Air ducts, Returns and number of furnaces) to be consistent. Kiwi then quoted me (after the discount) an even higher price. In my opinion, any company that attempts to entice customers with bogus coupons and reductions is not worth doing business with. I have now contracted with The Duct Man of Atlanta, his price was higher but he was up front and honest, no gimmicks just honest and to the point.

We have been having problems with our dryer not drying clothes completely, so we made an appointment to have Kiwi clean our dryer vent. We have approximately 30' of flexible dryer vent that runs through our attic and which we need to have cleared. We described the problem in detail to the representative when we made the appointment and were told that their technician could go into the attic and clear the vent for a fee of $117. However, when the technician arrived we were told that he would snake the vent and would only be able to go about 10'. When we described what we had discussed on the phone with the representative he went into the attic but told us that he could not clear the vent. After trying to sell us at least two additional services we didn't want or need, he told us that our problem with the dryer not working properly was most likely not due to an obstruction in the vent. As a result, we went to Home Depot and almost purchased a new dryer, but we were lucky enough to talk to a knowledgeable salesperson who told us to purchase an indoor dryer lint trap to test our old dryer first. We installed the lint trap and confirmed that the dryer works fine, so our problem is definitely because of an obstruction in the vent. Since Kiwi couldn't perform the service they promised, we now have to find another company to come out, which is extremely annoying as we will have to rearrange our work schedules a second time.

As our cats reached 20 years of age, there were urine issues. Kiwi has an amazing treatment for urine smells in the carpet. In addition to the usual spot treatment and carpet shampoo, Kiwi injects Neutracide and enzymes into the carpet and padding to treat the urine odor. The result...clean looking AND clean smelling carpet!

I have used Kiwi in the past and they do a good job but they are more expensive than other carpet cleaners.

They seemed professional and they knew what they were talking about. I chose not to use them because their pricing was higher than another company.

My son had bought a house and I was looking for somebody to clean the carpets because he had house warming kind of a thing. He was happy with the results. I don't remember the amount, but he had to pay a little bit extra for the stairs or something like that. He's got all the paper work with him. They pulled the rippling from the carpet so it looked really good. Our experience was good all the way through from making the call to everything else. The guy pretty much came in his own time and when he said he was going to be there because I was at home that day. He had several things going on and I just took the day off as my son had so much of work trying to get the house. I got an e-mail confirming things. I've had e-mails later on and it came with a warranty where he can call them 4 times within this year for whatever he needs cleaning on and he will be charged $54. I also got another e-mail recently stating that along with the warranty charge, he'll also get another 10% off. If he needs spot cleaning or something, he can just have them do that. They also said that it would be $54 and then another 10% if he called back and wanted it done again or a certain area. I don't think we had any problems. I did check their prices a little bit and the reason why we went with them was because I found them on Angie's List.

Part of the reason I used this company was that they offered a year warranty and recleaning during the year for a nominal charge. I rescheduled an appointment to have several room cleaned about 6 months after the initial cleaning. I waited around for them to show and then finally called several hours later to find out what had happened. The girl on the phone was very rude and abrupt and told me thay could not come that day. When I said it would have been nice to be notified, she brushed me off, then offered for them to come the following week. I told her that was unacceptable, as I had made specific arrangements to have the carpets cleaned before I started back to school and needed them done that week. She was supposed to transfer me to a supervisor but cut me off instead and the rest of the day, phone calls were not answered. I even emailed to complain and try to get a resolution but no one ever emailed me back. Would not use them ever again!!!!!

The wall-to-wall carpet was ok. The cleaning of our 3 rugs was a never-ending saga. The technicians told my mother who was at home that I should call the next day to see if the rugs can be returned earlier than 3-5 business days. A Kiwi rep called back to say that they could deliver on Sat between 1-4 PM. On Sat, the rugs were still not delivered at 4:10 PM, so I called them. They said that they didn't have my rugs on the delivery list, but no problem, they were able to contact the tech, and he would get my rugs from the warehouse because they were done and can be deliver before 6 PM. 6:15 PM, no carpets, so I called Kiwi and told them to tell the delivery person to not bother because my 6 dinner guests were arriving any moment. We rescheduled between 8-10 AM on Tuesday. I asked their customer service manager to call me back on Monday because the amount of time, 5 hours, that we waited for the rugs without any calls from Kiwi was unacceptable. Between Monday and Tuesday, I couldn't get ahold of the customer service manager. Meanwhile, the rugs were delivered on Tuesday at 8 AM. According to my mother, two techs showed up. Only one person actually did any lifting. My mother asked them to put the rugs back in place, but they said that they don't usually do that. This was directly contradicted by the Kiwi rep I talked to Tuesday evening who said that this a signature part of their service. They agreed to put one rug back in place after my mom insisted; however, my 63 yr old mom had to help them lift the coffee table so that they could lay the rug down. Later, my husband and I started to unroll one of the unrolled rugs, and we realized that it wasn't ours. I called Kiwi right away and was told that the customer service manager, Summer, would call me first thing the next day. By 5:30 PM on Wednesday, I had called Kiwi 4 times to leave messages for Summer. Apparently, Summer was out of the office, but Minta, her supervisor, didn't know that she was suppose to attend to my issue. Minta did locate my rug and offered me one free warranty cleaning, worth about $40 for 3 rooms, but I didn't think that this addressed all of the errors. The rugs were finally delivered one week after they were suppose to be delivered, but only after they they went to our old address and "thought" that they gave it to someone there and missed the time-frame again. The delivery person who arrived had the gall to ask why we didn't check the rugs when they were first delivered, didn't have on a Kiwi uniform, and stuffed the other customer's rug in the back of his sedan to take it away. After many calls, Minta finally told me that the owners were willing to reimburse me 15% of the rug cleaning costs. She said that it would take 24-48 hours. ell, one week later, I still didn't see the reimbursement in my account, so I called. Apparently, a note on my account said that it would actually take 4-6 weeks beginning August 6 for me to get reimburse. The saga continues.

I thought it went very well. The carpets look good, and I'm happy with them.

We have used them four times and are very happy with their service and process. They hand spray the carpet and then use a revolving head machine to clean the carpet and then hand rake it. After they clean you cannot see any seams and the carpet is flat.

When you call the number, the call is routed to a call center that is not even in Atlanta. I actually reached Dallas, TX. There is a two hour window that they commit. The man came early. He needed help moving some furniture where I wanted the carpet cleaned. He used a simple vacuum before spot treating the carpet. I had some very tough stains (pet stains, some heavy traffic areas, mildew) which did not come out completely, but the carpet was cheap and did not expect it to come out. He was on his hands and knees really rubbing those stains out. After spot treating, he used a cleaning/grooming machine. After he was finished, he told me that removing the stains was not part of the price. It cost roughly $10 per stain to be removed. I told him I was not informed beforehand and will only pay the quote I was given over the phone. After talking to his manager, he took the payment. Afterwards, he said that it was his error for not telling me about the charges before starting.
