Jack provided great customer service and was very professional. He also replaced some of the siding on my house to prevent future damage. Very impressed with the service of this company.  I actually called the highest rated roofing company on Angie's List but they were so busy with all the rain we have been having that they referred me to Jack.  They said that he specializes in repairs and had been doing it for 30 years and that I would be very happy with his work.
Jack showed up exactly when he said he would.  I got on the roof and took a look with him and they showed me exactly what need to be fixed and gave me a fair price.  Not only did they fix the flashing but the valley leading up to it.  He also resealed the flat part of the chimney and reapplied cement so that water wasnt able to find its way through (the old cement was long gone.)  He fixed shingles that had come loosed that I would have never noticed and resealed all pipes.  He even repainted some old metal vents that were all rusted
Jack's workers were very courteous as well.  I cant express enough how polite and respectful these guys were.  
I would call Jack back any day.

Long story short, I got the impression that if you have an emergency/leak he will come out ASAP to get it fixed, but if it is not a major concern it may take a while to get him out. Overall, I would use his company again and it was apparent that he genuinely cares about his customers.
Now the long version.  Jack is a very nice guy who seems to know what he is doing.  His company is a fairly small operation (its him and a team of 3 guys). I discovered a leak in my roof and the next morning I called Jack.  He answered right away and said he would be able to come out that day to inspect the situation and try to get it fixed.  He was punctual. 
While he was fixing the leak I asked if he would do an inspection of the roof to see if there were any other problems. While his team was on the roof they discovered a handful of issues, including a serious issue with some rotten wood around the chimney.  He asked if I wanted to go up on the roof so they could show me the work they did and the issues they found or if I would prefer for him to take pictures and show me on the ground.
After showing me the repairs he performed and the issues he discovered, he gave me an estimate to fix the remaining issues.  I called him about two weeks later to schedule a time for him to come out and do the repairs.  He said he was extremely busy and would call me the following week to schedule a time. A week went by and I never heard anything, so I called him back.  Again he said he was busy and would call me the next week.  This continued for two or three more weeks before I finally told him, if you dont come out by this date, I will call someone else.  Sure enough, he came out and fixed the issues and even gave me a bit of a discount. 

Played phone tag a bit, but once we scheduled , he was prompt and took care of the problem. I also called a well known roofing company in the Atlanta area for recommendations, and Jack Harper was the name given. He and his crew did the work and cleaned up everything.

Contacted Jack late on a Sunday night because I found a large hole in my roof while changing my air filter. He was out first thing in the Morning Tuesday! WOW what service! He did a thorough inspection of my roof and checked some other areas I was also concerned about. He did all the work immediately on the spot! I did not have to wait for another day or have to schedule a return visit! Jack is a very honest man and very knowledgeable about roofs. I recommend anyone to call him if you are having any kind of roof issue! Left area clean of debris. Very professional. Thank you Jack for everything you did for me!

He knows what he is doing. He explains it very carefully and he shows me the material. He tells me what material he is buying and why. He's upfront about the price and doesn't change it. He is very, very courteous. He sets out to see me as soon as he possible can. He is very prompt. The price seems reasonable to me. I don't have a whole lot of experience with roofing things but looking at the cost of the material it seemed reasonable. I am planning to have him come back again.

he did what was promised for the roof. feel he charged to much, but we were in a emergency situation. the roof was leaking. as I said above he did find a moisture issue with crawl space. he gave a verbal estimate on how much he would charge 4500.00 to correct. he states he would do it in the next 2weeks. he never came back. when we called him, he always had an excuse. he would not provide a written estimate. we did go with another provider from Angie's list.

Mr. Harper and his crew called a few minutes before their scheduled arrival, to make sure I remembered they were coming and would be home, then they arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time. He then thoroughly inspected the area I needed repaired. The roof had been leaking there for a long time before we'd noticed, so the wood on the porch ceiling below was very rotted. The whole beam needed replacing. They did the repairs while I was at work the rest of the day, and when I got home, I found the work almost finished. They were finishing with a coat of paint that matched the existing paint. The repair was done with quality materials that I expect will last longer than the original building materials on the rest of the house's exterior. I will most certainly call Jack Harper Roofing again whenever our house needs another such repair.

I was out of town for a week, and when I returned there was evidence of a leak on my ceiling. I called Jack on Thursday. He pulled his truck off to the side of the road so he could talk to me and get my contact information. Then, he showed up on Friday evening with his crew, presumably after a long day's work elsewhere. He was exactly what I expect from a contractor: calm, well spoken, courteous, knowledgeable, quick, and thorough. He brought me up on the roof to point out everything that needed to be done. He told me the price, which was fair especially since it was short notice and a Friday evening. Jack and his crew took care of everything in good time and were on the way. I noticed Jack appeared to treat his crew well, which is an important detail to me. Jack told me I had about 4 or 5 years left on the roof, which is good to know. He obviously knows this craft and is a good businessman. We already have had neighbors ask about Jack, and we are telling them he did a great job!

The gentleman that came out was incredible. He's a really nice guy, he treats my wife with a lot of respect and we're going to have him come back out in the fall to do the whole roof.

Jack Harper and his crew were punctual, professional, and prepared. They thoroughly examined our roof and not only solved the source of a leak; but went the extra mile to make sure all necessary repairs and maintenance were accomplished down to the last detail. Their experience and expertise were obvious. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Jack was very courteous and professional. He answered his phone every time I called. He fit me into his schedule even though he was very busy. My insurance company was claiming that my roof had a lot of damage and it was going to cost me a lot of money. Jack gave me an honest assessment and let me know that the insurance company was being underhanded. In addition to doing a great job and being very professional, Jack gave me some good advice. I plan to hire Jack to do some other work on my house in the next few months.

He was wonderful. He came by when he said he would come by. He is trustworthy.
