Mr. Grace was great. Very professional, timely, reasonably priced, and quality work. Will hire again.

It took a few visits to complete due to weather and other conflicts. End result was excellent.

It went great. It was initially a little hard to get a hold of Mr.Grace, but, after the second follow up call, he was very clear about his process, and once I accepted his proposal, everything went quick. When he arrived, he was very methodical and patiently answered all questions I had, and showed me around the property lines and how he arrived at his conclusions. He needn't have done it, but I'm glad he did. Unlike others, he is licensed in the state of GA, and he's an old hand, knows exactly what he's doing. His charges are reasonable. Will highly recommend him.

We contacted Mr. Grace via Angie's List.  We communicated on Angie's list regarding services offered and pricing.  Eventually, he called and we set up our date.  Mr. Grace came out to our newly constructed home to stake the property lines.  We are in the process of building a fence and wanted to ensure we had the correct boundaries marked.  He was efficient, professional and courteous.  We were in a bit of a hurry and he worked us in the same day!!  Wow!!  He invoiced us for the work and that was it!
The only thing I would change is the use of flags rather than stakes...but really that is not a big deal.

I wish I could give this surveyor better than an "A".  He was pleasant and very patient.  We had an issue with our neighbors who did not believe the results of the survey.  Mr. Grace came out and spoke with our neighbors, showed them the exact who, what, where and why the  survey was correct.  We really appreciated his professionalism.
I would recommend using him again and again!

I had trouble with my HOA due to their lack of knowledge and Mr Julian was very patient.  He came out on a Saturday and spent all morning shooting/marking our property lines about every 20' or 25'.  He even double checked his work and walk me through everything he marked.  He was very pleasant and it was a pleasure working with him.  If I needed anything else done with my plat, he would be the first person I would call.

Excellent! Mr Grace completed work as agreed and in a timely manner.

The "B" grade for punctuality is only because he didn't show up as early as scheduled.  However, he was waiting for the weather to warm up a little bit as cold temperatures affect his equipment.  Once he arrived, he did a thorough job of mapping out my property lines and provided a copy of the plat drawing for future reference.  I have a very small lot - less than a 10th of an acre - but he spent 3-4 hours making sure of the boundaries and marking it out.  I am very pleased with his services.

I needed a survey done for a zoning issue. I emailed everyone on a Sunday night explaining what I needed done and I needed it that week. Price quotes were $550 to $3,800, with many not being able to do the quick turnaround. Heck a lot didn't reply to my email and I had to call. Julian emailed me at 7:30am on Monday morning. Said he was covered up but could do it next week for $300. I called him and said I'd pay him more to do it that week. After a discussion of what I needed he said he would be by on Wednesday and he wouldn't charge extra. He showed up talked to us, took a few notes disappeared and when I woke up I had a stamped PDF of the survey in my email. The next day the paper copy showed up as well. This guy is quick professional and does what he says he will do when he says he will do it. If you need a surveyor look no further than Julian.

Mr. Grace came as scheduled on a Saturday! He was very sweet and professional. He spent a very long time (6 or so hours) finding the correct property lines in my old neighborhood where many of the lines have been lost over time. His price point was also much lower than any other surveyors I called and got estimates from. I'd definitely recommend Mr. Grace. :)

J. D. Grace Land Surveying did fine, didn't have any problems, arrived early. Very nice and professional, did a good job. Had to go through thick brush in backyard to perform the services.

I was very pleased from start to finish. I contacted the company on-line through a third party to request a quote. I explained that we needed a survey with certain details for a zoning variance application before we could build a new deck. Julian contacted me within a few hours both by phone (left a message) and e-mail. His messages were detailed and included a price, a description of what the survey would include, some available days for scheduling, and an example of his work. The example wasn’t just a random survey he’d done. It was chosen because it showed stream buffer setback lines and a proposed deck, just like ours would need.
The morning of the survey, it was raining. Julian contacted me to let me know he couldn’t survey in the rain, but would watch the weather and would come over as soon as it cleared that day. When he got here, we talked again about what my needs were, then he went about doing his thing, which included wading into the stream to locate the plot line markers. The next day he sent me an electronic draft of the drawing (layered PDF) and gave me an opportunity to request additions/corrections. I sent a few minor corrections. He made the changes within a few business hours and sent me another draft to review. Once I approved the draft, he mailed me five signed copies of the survey right away and an invoice. He said, “but if the city requires revisions I will continue working with you at no extra charge.”
Julian’s drawing contained all the features we needed for our variance, building permit, and later fence building. He also provided some distance and area calculations for us for our variance application. Great drawing, quick turn around, great communication/customer service.
