Darryle was amazing. Very professional and thorough. He checked everything. Took time to explain his findings and educated me on some things as well. I would definitely recommend Darryle!!

Darryle was very professional---punctual, addressing me by my title and last name, and pointing out concerns in practical terms as he worked. Supplied me with a very professional binder in which to keep our inspection report which arrived that very evening via e-mail. We have great peace of mind that "no stone was left unturned". Will be hiring him again to make certain repairs were properly made.

Mr. Melson showed up on time, very professional and begin working right away. He picked out things we would have never noticed from the roof to the garage. He even spotted and advised several safety measures for ourselves and any children that might be in the home. Being a first time home owner, he went over where to find things, i.e. shut off valves, breaker switches and even showed me how to change the filters in the attic, how often to do so and which ones were the best to buy. There were some cosmetic items that he found that the report didnt require, however, because he showed them to me, I was able to bring them to the builders attention on their walk through. I called him a day before we needed the second inspection due to an aggressive close date and he worked it into his schedule and completed the report in 24 hours. Though his mannerism is about business, he does it with patience and a smile. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone who need a THOROUGH, price friendly inspection!

I chose Darryle Melson of If Walls Could Talk from my mortgage program's approved vendor list. Unlike many of the other home inspectors I contacted, Mr. Melson was able to schedule me for the pre-purchase inspection quickly. He arrived punctually (early in fact) and was very thorough in his inspection. He also offered me lots of information about some of the work I was planning for the property and gave me an informational binder on homeownership and the basics of home repair after the inspection was done. The only reason I have given him a "B" on responsiveness is that once the initial inspection was done, he conducted two further inspections for me (required by the lender) on work that was done on the property. Both times, my mortgage program requested that he contact me within 24 hours to schedule the inspection, and both times I had to call to get it scheduled, and in one case follow up more than once. However, once we got things scheduled, he was prompt and the inspections were efficient.
