Patrick Griffin, I felt compelled to write the THE TRUTH. Mr. Griffin took on a
job that we found out later was totally unqualified to correctly perform
the work as requested. He will start off as the nicest guy and then when
the project went south, we saw the true Mr. Griffin. We have a flat roof
that required expertise he stated he had. He turned our roof into a
swimming pool, left us with a dysfunctional roof and then took us to court
when we refused to pay the full payment. The judge stated "buyers
beware" and ruled in Griffin's favor. So, in other words a contractor
that you think is qualified can completely screw up your roof and as a
homeowner you should be aware of his abilities. Really? We stopped him
several times during the project and he offered no sensible solutions to rectify the situation.
Our problem was we did not hire an attorney as we thought we had so much
evidence of his ridiculously poor performance. His work was not to code,
he did not pull required permits and then blamed us. He kept telling
us everything was OK when it obviously was not. We ended up tearing off
his roof and having the work done by a qualified roofer.
As the responsible owner of Griffin Roofing, LLC, Mr. Griffin is the worst and most despicable contractor we have
ever dealt with. He is an arrogant, condescending individual and who was only interested in "getting his money" as he repeatedly reminded me. He kept telling me that "he did what I asked for" although I can clearly remember not asking him to completely screw up my roof! There is a serious integrity issue with Mr. Griffin and his ?roofing company?.
If you choose to hire Griffin Roofing then all I can say is "buyers beware"!
