GREERS HARDWOOD FLOOR

The work that this contractor and his son did the first time was pretty good, but there were some areas I would have liked to have seen done better. As his son was laying down the planks he wasn t watching how careful he should have been and the gun was damaging some of the edges. Then I noticed that the planks weren t being laid down with at least 6 inches of space difference so that it wouldn t look so uniformed. At this point they ran out of wood and had to come back to complete the remaining 310 square feet of flooring left. The owner sent someone else this next time and he came with his wife. They paid special attention not to damage the wood like last time, but they seemed in a hurry and after it was all done, I noticed that the wood which was left over was actually better quality than the planks they decided to put down. I think if I ever have to do hardwood floors again I will wind up either doing it myself like I did upstairs, or wind up looking for another contractor.
