He responded from Angi s List on Thursday June 22st. Came by on Friday June 22nd. I told him I had 4 projects I needed done and added a 5th project later on. The projects were: install a total of 10 recess lights. I added 2 later on. He installed 5 but didn t seal them in. And didn t finish putting up the other 5 and didn t add the dimmer switches. Install a total of 3 smoke detectors. I added 1 more later on. He installed 2 carbon monoxide detectors but it should have been 3 smoke and carbon monoxide detectors combined. He didn t remove the 2 wrong detectors. Remove an old doorbell and old chime. add the wiring to a Ring doorbell. He removed the old doorbell and chime but didn t connect the ring doorbell. He Also put a screw in and locked the casing which I didn t ask him to do. I couldn t get the screw out and had to forcefully remove it and get a new ring doorbell. The final project was to install a new kitchen light. He didn t start it. I gave him $550 down payment and an additional $350 and a few weeks later $200. He said it was for additional supplies and some labor costs. Some of the supplies were on back order so he started the paver s project. It took 2 weeks to finish that. He was supposed to come in and do all the prep work but always had an excuse not to show up . I finally gave him a final deadline to complete the projects and he blocked his phone and email. I haven t spoken to him since.

Horrible. No show many days. Started project and one week later no respo.

Experience with Home Advisor was very positive . The service provider was responsive, respectful and competent.

Quick response to my inquiry. Over 2-hours late arrival. Took a very long time to do some simple tasks. Did not clean up after himself. 2-itemes were subpar quality. Affordable. Nice guy but a little too friendly.
