My antique sliver plate which was part of pitcher/plate set was sent by a local restoration specialist in Ohio to Estes Simmons to be re-plated. This was a family hierloom and dates back to the late 1800's. While the plate was at Estes Simmons, the business was broken into and my piece was stolen. I have numerous serious concerns here. 1) The owner was notified by the alarm company at 1:30am to alert him that the motion detectors had been activated and the alarm  was sounded. He told them it must be a false alarm and told the alarm company not to call the police. 2) The front door is glass and was easily broken. 3) I was not told about the burglary until 2 weeks after it occurred. 4) There are no video cameras at the location. 5) The owner did check pawn shops or try to find the stolen property. This was a very important family piece and I feel that this company did not take reasonable, prudent steps to safeguard my property. 
Be aware? your precious items are not safe here.  Many things should have been done to take care of my property and keep it safe. The owner has not attempted to contact me or take any steps to resolve this serious problem. 

They did a very good job. They were outstanding. I took it in at 9 am and they had it done by 3:30 so it was same day service. The price was very economical.
