Eco-Friendly Maid Service

The staff is trustworthy, hardworking, and friendly. I have never been disappointed with the cleaning and have used the service off and on for two years now.

At first, EcoFriendly Maid Service was great! Our initial deep cleaning was much needed after moving into our home. We decided to hire them for monthly maintenance cleanings. The first few months they did a good job, but then things went downhill. I think they had two ladies cleaning the house originally and then downsized to one. 
They would frequently skip mopping, dusting and wiping down kitchen counters. I only think they scrubbed one tub in our house. We do have two dogs, but we usually vaccumed the pet hair before they even arrived to save time as a courtesy.
We hired them for one last deep cleaning - which was the last straw. I got home to find that they had cleaned no more than a regular cleaning, but charged me double. They didn't clean the windows, which I had paid extra for, and barely mopped or dusted. There were visible cobwebs that hadn't been taken care of and they didn't even wipe down the counters. I could have cleaned the place better myself.
They were usually very responsive via email, although when I sent my email discontinuing our service they send an automated email back about how they are cutting down on email correspondence. It seemed fishy as I had never received that email before.

We have been very, very pleased with weekly service from Eco-Friendly. The owner and office staff stay in touch with the client and do spot inspections to make sure the work is up to expectations and are very happy to accommodate requests. The cleaners are well-trained and courteous. Although occasional turnover is inevitable, the company makes an effort to schedule the same person/people for repeat visits.

We love this service. The cleaning is always extremely thorough, the people are very professional, considerate, and kind. I love knowing that my house with 2 pets is cleaned well with eco-friendly and pleasant smelling products. Love the days these guys come!

We weren't happy with the first deep cleaning job we got done by Amanda but we sent an email in response to their request for feedback and they were really responsive and quick to make it right. At our next (slightly discounted) cleaning we got Ally who we have since come to love and trust with our home cleaning. She hand scrubbed our shower grout like we wanted and got all of the things that had been missed. Since then we've set up a regular bi-weekly cleaning service schedule. 
We did have her come one week in between (and were billed the lower weekly rate) because we were considering switching to weekly service and were somewhat disappointed that instead of using the time to cleaning more deeply areas that "get better with consistent work over time", they only lightly touched up what had been worked on the week before and were out in less than 2 hours. We have since decided to just stick with our normal schedule rather than pay more often for what felt like the same amount of cleaning.
Overall though, we are happy with their services. The don't use ANY chemicals (or any of those popular "green" cleaners that are just as bad as the mainstream stuff) which is important to us. And more often than not (5 out of 7 times), when they have cleaned our home, it passes my husband's white glove test. They are always communicative and professional. While no one we've hired has quite been able to clean my house the way I would do it were I not on the brink of giving birth any day now, these guys have definitely come closest.

I specified certain things I wanted, and they did not do them. They forgot about a few spots and a few rooms. I contacted Alex about it and he basically said it was too far. He was going to give me a $25 credit. We went back and forth since he was not being fair to us, after the money we paid for it. It kind of got ugly, actually. I was pregnant and my husband had to get involved. Then they had to give us a portion of our money back.
