Divine Lightscapes

This was a really great experience and Tim and his colleague deserve a uniquely positive review. I have had landscape lighting for years, and it had to be reinstalled 2x because of previous vendors not doing a good job. I was replacing bulbs every 4 most or so because of mismatches between wattages and bulb outputs. Ugh. I went to say hello to Tim as he was finishing a neighbor's house at 930 pm. He made time without an appointment to spend 30 min speaking with me about how to remedy my issues, make the house look brighter and pledged to send me a proposal quickly. I had a proposal the next day. We exchange a quick call to answer a few question and confirm a time to do the work. They were there on time as promised, did exactly what we asked for and walked me through at the end to make sure that things were to my liking. Straightforward, prideful work and great follow through. Over the years, I have tried to find a reliable vendor for landscape lighting who really knew what they were doing. These folks answer that need. A really great experience.

Tim did an outstanding job of redesigning and updating our outdoor lights. Additional lights were added and all lights were updated with LED lights. Tim is incredibly responsive (egs. answers his phone when you call, follows through on his commitments re: appointments, design, pricing commitments, etc.) is very passionate about his work and did an outstanding job for us. Our outdoor lights have never looked so good.

The project went very smoothly. Tim was easy to reach, and he provided a detailed explanation of the products he uses. His price was reasonable compared to other prices we received. He did a great job on the installation and stayed until after dark to make sure we liked the placement of the lights and light levels before they buried the wiring the next day. I would highly recommend Divine Lightscapes.

Tim came out to evaluate our exterior lighting which had not been working since we recently moved in to our home. He was able to repair and salvage our existing lighting system- which saved us greatly versus installing a completely new one. He also gave great design recommendations on how we could improve the look of the lighting on our home. He was also prompt to reply when we initially reached out and during follow up. Tim was also nice to work with- very friendly and professional during his visit. I would highly recommend Tim and Divine Lightscapes and would hire him again.

The project was Fabulous! Tim Snyder is a dream to work with--he is the estimator, the owner, the installer and the follow-up, all rolled into one. I wanted to install up lighting on my house to replace some walkway lights. Tim spent all the time I needed to work with me on a design plan, and then had his proposal to me the same day. He scheduled my job for about two weeks out, then texted me the day before starting to check if everything was a go. He showed up 15 minutes before he said he would be there, worked through the day and into the evening, finishing up just before dark. He tweaked some of the design plan to get a better effect, and had the lights so perfectly aimed (with a laser) that the shadows were evenly balanced and the whole house looked amazing. Then Tim pulled out a professional grade camera and tri-pod to take great pictures and send them to me the next day.

It went very well. The owner, Tim Snyder, is extremely responsive and professional. Unlike other companies, he came did the estimate, made recommendations, supervised and did some of the work, and then came at night to light up the house and make adjustments. He accepted full payment when we were 100% happy! It was a great experience.

Tim is a great guy, walked me through my light system, made recommendations and did the necessary work to get my entire lighting system up and running. I have approximately 100 lights managed by 2 transformers.

Tim Snyder is first rate. He inspected and returned to working order the 10-15 fixtures in our tiny backyard. We had some dimmable downlighting, one task light for the BBQ, and some uplighting on a fence, a gate and a tree. He was easy to reach. He was very reliable in scheduling (showed up exactly as promised), and he did an excellent job. Prior to his visit, the landscape lights were unreliable or failed. After his visit, everything has worked perfectly.

I called Tim to set up an appointment for an estimate and to my surprise he answered the phone immediately. He came by our house the next day and spent an hour walking our property while suggesting different options based on our budget. Within 24 hours, he sent us a very detailed professional proposal. We were extremely impressed and hired him to do our job. A few days later Tim came to do our installation. His design and attention to details were excellent. He used high quality fixtures and LED bulbs which will save us energy and maintenance expense going forward. Once the job was completed Tim stayed at the house until dark. He wanted to make sure that we were happy with the way the lighting looked. We are delighted with our new landscape lights! DIVINE LIGHTSCAPES is an exceptional company whose customer service, product knowledge, fare pricing and creativity are beyond compare.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Tim of Divine Lightscapes. Time was always on time, responsive, and professional. I am a gardener and was worried about the impact of installation of lights on my plants. But everything went well and I can't even tell that Tim laid wire in the beds. My front walkway was lighted with pathway lights and I have 7 spotlights providing light and security on the front of the house. I highly recommend this company.

Tim is a great guy and is very passionate about lighting. He did a great job of ensuring we were fully satisfied. We made a few changes to get the lights exactly then way we wanted them and during that process he was patient and helpful. The cost was more than I originally wanted to pay, however; you get what you pay for! I feel confident that these lights will bring us great pleasure in years to come as it enhances the ambiance while enjoying our backyard. I would definitely recommend Tim and would use him again without hesitation!

I called Tim to ask for a quote and he was out the next day. Gave me a proposal within 24 hours and completed the work while I was traveling next week. I came home to a beautifully lite home! It was exactly what I wanted. Tim used my existing transformer ,but had the brilliant idea of moving it from the front to the side of the house. Now it is unobstructed and no one can see it walking up to the front door. I also love the astronomic timer that he installed. I will never have to worry about it. My lights will come on at sunset and off at midnight through storms and daylight savings time changes. I know that he even came back to my house in the evening to see if he needed to tweak anything. I am very pleased.

Tim is a great guy and very good with lighting details. The property was complete darkness and they only area that was lit up was the front and side doors with wall sconces. I can now turn those off and sconces and enjoy the light view at night. The lightscape really pops at night now. I'm very happy with Tim's work and was work every cent. I plan on calling him back to do the side and back of the house.

Tim showed up on the day scheduled and on time. He had the job nearly completed by the time I returned home from work. He was very friendly, I could tell he takes pride in his work. He finished the job (10 outdoor lights), even returned to my house at dusk to make sure the lights were perfect, to my liking. He gave a follow up call about 2 wks later to make sure that I was still happy with the work. Two months later I called Tim back b/c a chipmunk has chewed through a cord feeding one of the lights. He was prompt to return my call and made plans to come out to fix the problem. I hired him again to add four more lights to the flower beds in my front yard. The lights look great! I am more than pleased with my overall experience with Tim and Devine Lightscapes. I highly recommend him.

Tim not only upgraded our electric boxes to ensure we could handle more lighting in a cost-efficient way, he also used what we already had in the yard to ensure that our costs stayed down. Outstanding workmanship. Outstanding service. A must-hire if you're looking for help with your outdoor lighting.

Great!! We would not hesitate to use Tim again and he will be the first call we make when we add outdoor lighting to the back of our property. When we first began the process he was on vacation and still responded promptly, sent pictures and design recommendations. He explained how the install would go and all work was completed in one afternoon/evening. I really liked his approach of finishing the installation at dusk so you can actually see how the lighting looks and make adjustments if needed. I ended up adding a couple of extra lights but Tim was not trying to "up sell" us AT ALL. I feel like we got a great service for the price and he has been very responsive since the installation... checking in, adjusting timing of the atomic timer and coming by to check a bulb which had been dislodged by a dog or landscaper. NO RESERVATIONS in recommending Divine Lightscapes. You will love the difference it will make on your home! Another reason we chose Divine Lightscapes was the use of the atomic timer - it can be in a protected area like the garage and does not rely on external light sensors.

Tim Snyder developed a lightscape plan which efficiently illuminated the pathways and driveway and provided subtle accent lighting of facade stonework and bay windows. The light fixtures are relatively inconspicuous. Tim completed the installation within one day and returned later at night to ensure the light angles were correct. He also followed-up later to ensure we were satisfied with the installation and operation of the lighting. We are very pleased and highly recommend Divine Lightscapes.

Excellent service

Tim (owner) was awesome. Super nice guy, very passionate and skilled in his art. He did an amazing job, and when budget allows we will have him back to do more. I've already recommended him to neighbors- he's really got an eye for lighting, and of course the technical chops to make it happen.

Tim went above and beyond our expectations. We had a previous guy try to install our landscape lighting and it was a nightmare. However, Tim came along and installed beautiful lighting that complemented the architecture and our new landscape. Not only did he do an amazing job, he cleaned up all the problems that the other guy left behind. We are so delighted to have met Tim and will recommend him to anyone in need of landscape lighting help. He was knowledgeable, professional, and a great mentor to our 7 yr old son!

We can't recommend Divine Lightscapes highly enough. Tim Snyder is a true artisan and really passionate about his work. He is immediately responsive, and completed all the work on schedule (even working some weekends) and held to his estimate. He is a perfectionist, and I was incredibly impressed with the care he took in burying the wire through our yard (requiring him to dig underneath a concrete walkway leading to our front door)--he really tried to minimize all damage to the yard from this process. He uses excellent timers that turn on and off from dusk to dawn very accurately and don't rely on photosensors. Several neighbors have already driven by to say how much they love our exterior lighting and to ask who did it for us, and one who already had lighting asked who did ours because they thought ours was much better! Tim's prices are very reasonable, especially considering the expertise in design he brings to the table (which is essential for proper architectural lighting) and the high quality brass LED fixtures he uses.

Great. I called Tim at 7am. He called me back by 7:15am same day. We discussed overview of job and set up appointment for onsight visit 2 days later. He actually came to the house 2 hours early (called me to confirm). Sized up the job and gave me a preliminary "best" estimate (also turned out to be very, very close to the final invoice) which I felt was fair to both of us. He actually discouraged me from replacing some older pathway lights and provided a more cost effective solution. We then set up an installation appointment for the following week. He arrived exactly on time and timed the arrival to complete the job as dusk arrived. He was very detailed oriented and you could tell that this work is his passion. I felt sure that the installation was going to be just what we were hoping for and there was no disappointment. He even made a suggestion to turn off an outside pole lamp that would detract from the new lighting-and he was right. Was the installation was right the first time? Actually we agreed that one light should be rotated about 5 degrees! He also gently suggested that we put a timer on the lights instead of operating the lighting with a switch. I'm glad that I listened to him because that makes all the sense in the world. Why have nice lighting if you have to think about turning it on and off when you can have a timer that turns it on at dusk and off at dawn? Maybe there are other companies out there that are bigger and maybe cheaper using lower quality fixtures, but I doubt if you will find a company where the owner is the person that you will work with from the first phone call, to the end of the job. Even if you call other companies, I suggest you also call Tim and make you own evaluation of his character and professionalism. I doubt you will be disappointed. I didn't include pictures, but Tim did take photos if you have an interest in seeing his work.

It went incredibly well. I have never been more happy with any contractor - Tim was terrific every step of the way! I met with 4 or 5 providers and found Tim to be the most knowledgeable and passionate - and he carried great lighting products. Tim came to my house and came up with several ideas and recommendations on what we could do to create the best solution for my yard. He had very creative ideas and gave me different options for tiers of costs. He even demo'd a couple options so I could see how it looks at night. He was responsive throughout - by phone and text and always happy to answer any of my questions. He was also very careful with all the work he did - and treated my yard as if it was his own. Lastly, the system he put in place also allows me the option to easily expand in the future. I am thrilled with the outcome. The lighting is perfect - and provides great visibility along the driveway and beautiful soft uplighting. My yard is transformed through the lighting Tim installed. Cannot recommend Tim and Divine enough!

Tim is an artist. Anyone can install lighting, but he is meticulous in every detail. He is a joy to work with and a true professional. We are already looking at other areas to add lighting...and we will be calling Tim.
