DARRELL THE PLUMBER

Found leak and installed a new toilet. He did a good job. Was very reasonable. I will recommend and continue to use him.

I was given Darrell's name by a friend, after half of Atlanta had problems with burst pipes and 5 other plumbers hadn't called me back after 2 days. I called and he said he could take care of me the very next day, since he'd be in my area. He said he'd call before coming over, and sure enough, this afternoon, he called and said he was coming from a job nd would be at my home in about an hour. After he got here, I showed him where the leak had sprung, and he cut open the wall and went to work, showing me where the sheet rock was stil wet and crumbly, and the insulation still soaked, days after I'd cut off the water. Although the site was a but awkward to get to--we had to move the dishwasher out of the way and he was cramped into the small space under the counter where the dishwasher normally was--he got it all fixed, extended the copper piping that was there and pulling out the length of CPVC that had burst, so I could show my insurance adjuster. We put things mostly back, and reconnected the dishwasher, but left the site accessible, again for the insurance adjuster. He offered that if I needed any help in getting everything back into place, just call and he'd come out to help.  He then went to help one of my neighbors, who had called after seeing his phone number on his van parked in front of my house, because the plumber she'd hired had just left a job half-finished, and she was desperate. He was very personable yet professional, prompt and helpful, did a great job in getting the problem fixed, and offered followup service. Really, what more can you ask for?

Darrell is knowledgeable, focused and pleasant to work with. We were expecting a houseful of guests for Thanksgiving and discovered a major plumbing problem the week before. Darrell made solving our problem a priority and despite obstacles, made our repairs with time to spare!

He has been my plumber for more the 20 years and if he doesn't retire I will call on him for the next 20. Great to work with. Very fair in pricing.
