Cutting Edge Firewood

Great service.  Sent inquiry on their website and they called me to arrange delivery.  Gave them my payment information over the phone and they delivered while I was at work.  Came home and was stacked and covered.  This is the second season I used them.  Wood burns great, though might be split a little too small.   Very expensive compared to other vendors, but you get what you pay for.

Great people. Great service. Great price. Very professional. Only problem is the wood will not burn. Had the gas on for an hours but the wood would not catch fire. Turned gas off an what little flames we had went out. Joke in our house right now is that we bought fire proof logs We will not need any additional wood this year - these three logs will last for months.

I needed more firewood for the winter. I was tempted to use my previous supplier but Cutting Edge left a Postcard flyer, a piece of wood and matches on my front door so I decided to give them a chance. Their wood was advertised as kiln dried verses seasoned wood. According to what I've research the wood is basically baked a little to dry the wood beyond what seasoned process could do. I called and the owner was very professional. We communicated back and forth via email and he came on the time slot he stated. What impressed me about his service is when he pulled up in a flatbed trailer with individual metal cubes filled with customers orders verses other firewood vendors with pickup trucks. He delivered one of the cubes in my garage and proceeded to stack the wood in a spot I had available then he air blow the debris from my garage. Later that night I fired up the fireplace and without needed much effort, the wood ignited immediately. Minimal cracking and smoke. The wood burned clean and hot. I would recommend this supplier. The wood is a little more than others but you pay what you get.
