I happened to see a framing service that I thought would be particularly good (and dedicated to) making the necessary repairs--Custom Framing by Veterans. I was right. Santos carefully examined the damage, proposed several options for fixing them, and promised to have the fix in a week. Only 4 days later Santos brought the plaque to my nearby home (his idea, not mine) and unveiled a plaque that was not only repaired but improved in many ways. It looked great! The damage from the glass was invisible.
Kudos for a job well done. I highly recommend him for any framing job, especially those related to military service.
