Billie took the time to come to our home to meet us and our dog so we could both see if we would make a good "match" for pet sitting. She was very thorough with her questions for me and with explaining her plan/services to me. She even came to our house a 2nd time for a "practice" run before our trip (with me waiting nearby) to see how our dog would react to her entering our house without us there. While we were away, Billie kept us updated about how things were going via text, checked our mail, brought in packages, and turned lights on/off for us. She also had multiple convenient payment options available. Billie made the whole process very easy and we will definitely use her again...in fact, we already have her booked for our next trip! :)

This company did many pet sittings for me during the past 15+ years, taking care of 1 (occasionally 2) German shepherds dog(s). There were 4 successive pet sitters over the years, and all were extremely professional. The current sitter is excellent. All sitters have been reliable and resourceful, and have provided excellent care to the dog(s) and the house (plant watering, picking mail). Most importantly, they have proven to be great animal lovers (and very understanding about the quirks of the animal owner!).

Have used them many times, they go out of their way to make you feel that your pets are ok.

Have used more than once, and can say without hesitation that I trust Ms. Billie like I would my own family. Her attention to detail as regards her job surpasses my own expectations. When I’m gone, I don’t even feel the need to check in to see how things are going. Couldn’t recommend more strongly.

Billie has been pet sitting for us for over three years and we love her. My cats are slightly shy and she is very good at engaging them in play and contact with her. We wouldn’t think of using anyone else.

Great!!! Billie was good with my dog and she took very good care of her. I had to call at the last minute to ask Billie to come take care of Bella and she responded quickly and was able to help me. I will definitely use her again.

GREAT!! Billie McDowell in Douglas County is fantastic! We needed her suddenly & with hrs notice she was able to help us. Billie was able to come over on a day by day basis til we knew when my daughter could come home from surgery 3 hrs away from home. Billie is ready to keep coming until she hears from you that you are physically home-not on your way as your pets are her priority & delays in travelling can happen. She also stays & takes time to play/interact with each dog individually. Billie fed each dog their own food & correct amt as each gets a different amt. They all got to go outside to go potty. For us, she came over 3 x a day. Billie changed pee pads & cleaned up where the pee pads were missed or ran off. Last, but not least, she takes pics & sends to you daily so you can see your content, happy pet! Billie also had offered to turn lights on & off to make it look like we were home. She had come over before she watched ours for the first time to get to know our dogs & for our dogs to get to know her. It was obvious they all liked her from the start & she has a gift with animals. Billie also took notes about their meds, their food & which dog ate what & amts each, frequency, etc. She will come over as often as you want. Additionally she asked us what each dog liked to do so she could play with them when she came to take care of them. She documents emergency contact info, etc. & if u want she keeps a house key so she can take care of your pets in an emergency situation such as we just had! Billie goes above & beyond what any other dog sitter I have heard of would do! We HIGHLY recommend Billie McDowell!!!

I started the service in April 2015. My work day with drive time from Norcross to Perimeter Mall was ten hours; I didn't want to stress myself or the dogs. Everything went smoothly. I retired but continued to get contract work, so I'd work three months, be off for three months, like that. I would use the service during the working periods. Sometimes I would need the walker for only one day. And she would even feed the dogs if I requested. On Wednesday night Aug. 1st I received an email stating that a contract job I had applied for weeks before was beginning the next day. I texted the walker first thing Thursday morning. No response. I texted again at 1:30pm (the job was 3:00pm to 11:30) and she said her schedule was full through Sunday. So I sent this text: "What am I supposed to do? I didn't find out until 10 last night. What about the backup lady?" Do you think that text was inappropriate? (I found out later that the pet walker did.) Anyway I get no response to the text. There had been a backup lady who did walk my dogs on occasion. So I call the office on Saturday and asked the same question: what about the backup lady? The office lady said she'd find out. Getting no response, on Monday I call the office again, leaving a message. Shortly thereafter the pet walker (finally) sends a text that says "Critter Sitters and I are unable to meet your expectations, so I have been instructed to return your key." Expectations? I texted her requesting dog walking service. I was prepared to book her daily through Dec. 15th. And yes I was expecting her to take the assignment. Is that unreasonable? I wasn't asking her to fix my plumbing or paint the house. I spoke with the regional manager who said that the backup lady had moved. You mean my dog walker and the office lady didn't know this? Anyway, you be the judge. This is my report and I stand by my rating.

Billie at Critter Sitters is always awesome! She’s very professional. Every time I have needed help she has gone above and beyond! Our animals love her. I would recommend her to anyone needing care for their fur babies!

Tyndel was very professional - letting me know her schedule and what time she would be able to arrive. When I returned, everything was clean (cat food cans were clean for recycle), the litter boxes were clean, mail gathered. She had adjusted blinds and lights so that it would appear I was home. It was a pleasure to come home to! I will definitely be using Critter Sitters again for worry -free vacations!

Great! The sitter texted us a couple of times while we were gone to let us know how things were going. We have already booked her agin for our next vacation.

She's great with the dogs, very flexible with her schedule, and is always there when we need her. Can't say enough good things about her and the company.

We have been using Laura Crumley for at least 9 months now. She comes and takes great care of my fur babies when we are out of town. Taz (our diabetic kitty) is not always the most "agreeable" to strangers but she has won him over. We couldn't do it without her! Not every pet sitter is willing to give injections! Thank you Laura for the texts and pics to keep me posted when we are away. They keep me going since I am always worried about my special needs baby. She's a keeper!
