 + 0 moreTorre was a fabulous find. He was recommended by a friend who does a lot of home renovations and remodels. Torre provided accurate, detailed, estimates. He showed up on time. He had wonderful follow-up skills. I wasn't living in the house while it was being remodeled, so he would often email me an update on his progress in the evening. When he encountered problems, he was adept at explaining the problem and coming up with a good solution recommendation. If he felt like an avenue of the project was unwise, he would tell me so and why. He also would come up with suggestions for how to do things better. Torre took pride in his work and wanted the best possible outcome for his client and the project. All this with very fair, honest pricing. Torre is a hard and an all-around pleasant person to be around, I feel fortunate to have found him and have already spoken to him about future projects.
Description of Work: Torre did a bathroom and kitchen update. The bathroom update included: Building a "knee" wall, ripping out existing tile, installing sheetrock on the ceiling (mudding and taping too), repairing plumbing, adapting plumbing to convert a single sink into a double sink, building a frame for an existing mirror, installing new tile, installing tub surround tile, building a new casing for the bathtub, and doing basic repairs for the shower. The kitchen update included: Building an extension and molding around existing cabinets, ripping out old tile and backsplash, installing a bead-board backsplash, painting the cabinets, and doing other light repairs.
