Classic Bars

Not only did they do a great   job in designing the bar and delivering it on schedule, Bob took the initiative of recommending a change in the design of the room...which really made the room a lot more practical and user friendly.  We have gotten lots of compliments for family and friends on the recommended changes.

We saw a beautiful custom mahogany bar, built by Classic Bars, at a neighbor's home and were then referred to Classic Bars, and Bob Wilson.  We met with Bob at their workshop near Atlanta, GA and discussed our space, our desires, options and pricing.  Bob is one of the nicest contractors I have worked with, and he sure knows how to build custom bars!  Honest, personable, humorous and thoroughly skilled at what he does.  Though the estimate was above our planned budget, we felt that the quality, craftsmanship and value were worth it and we placed our order on the spot.  Within a week, Bob came to our home near Clemson, SC (2 1/2 hours away) and we finalized the design and clearly identified plumbing and electrical modifications that needed to be made prior to installation.

During the build process, Bob kept us up to date with emails, pictures of the work as it progressed, and phone calls to make minor change decisions.  We KNEW what was going on at all times, that the finished product would meet our expectations and that Bob was running a fine operation.

As completion neared, we scheduled on March 22 2016 for the installation.  Bob and his crew arrived within 10 minutes of the scheduled time.  What a pleasure to watch what is clearly a high performance team in action.  Each person knew what to do, how to do it, and how not to make a mess in the process.  They knew when someone would need help and were there to assist without having to be told.  This bar is almost 20 running feet in a U shape, with sink, ice maker and a refrigerator/triple tap keg.  They were in, installed, cleaned up and finished in less than 2 1/2 hours.  Professional to the max.

The work and quality is impeccable, they can be a little hard to get ahold of from time to time.

Bob Wilson is a true gentleman and a profectional wood working expert. His shop workforce is talented and also deliver on time. The glass for four shelves was cut the incorrect length, Bob sent the correct glass as soon as I asked.

I first asked for a gold foot bar rail, later our designed wanted it chrome, I called Bob and he exchanged it without charge.

I would recommend Classic bars if you want a quality bar, you will get what you pay for.
