Doors
$13,700
Sales was excellent, but that’s where it ended. Was told someone would come out for accurate measurements to send to manufacturer. No one ever called. Soon i was charged for the doors to be made but never had official measurements taken and it was like pulling teeth for someone to provide me proof that measurements were taken when no one was home. I was told it happened on 10/31 but I was out of state. So must have broken into my property to do it then? Skip ahead two months, one door shows up to be installed but can’t as it doesn’t fit. Shocking. Three months later all doors arrive for install. First time I touch it the screen falls off my patio door. On the other door the hardware isn’t what I ordered to begin with and there is a dent in the steel paneling. So one of three doors is working out for me. In total, it’s been six months since i signed on the contract and i haven’t so much as received a “hey, we’re sorry this has been awful and we really appreciate your $15,000. How can we make it right?” Instead I have to inquire DAILY with someone from installation scheduling (since this is the only contact I have aside from sales) about when and how management is going to fix it. I went with Champion as for the warranty and quality of work. Never again

Poor service, communication, and lack of oversight on my project. I was verbally told we purchased six (6) windows, but the sales guy, Andrew Stone, only wrote five (5) on the contract. We were told a price for our windows, and now, we are being told we must pay more even though we verbally agreed upon our project. This is called Bait and Switch. I have tried in vain for 18 days to fix this problem with no response from Mr. Stone. Additionally, I wanted to add grids to my windows BEFORE the project was sent to production, but Mr. Stone lazily didn't do this either. Due to Mr. Stone's lack of attention, we now will be getting windows that we don't want, and Champion is saying this is our fault and must pay. It's now been 19 days since I first reached out to our sales guy, with no response. I wouldn't work with Champion again, even if there was a gun to my head. They will make a sale and walk away - customer be damned! DO NOT BUY FROM CHAMPION WINDOWS!

Calvin Church did an excellent job explaining everything we needed to know about the vinyl siding we ordered for the house. He was very professional and answered all of our questions. We look forward to having the house sided by Champion in the coming weeks.

Jack was positively the right guy for the job. He showed up on time and with enough materials to show the right products for the job. His explanations were thorough and made the job easy to understand. I appreciated his candor and personable attitude. Without a doubt, I would call on him again to replace my windows.

1. They came to my house and gave us a quote. We paid them thousands of dollars. The doors were to be installed in 12ish weeks. 2. Over a month into waiting for the doors to be finished, these people called me back to come back and "re-measure" the windows. It was very sketchy. It was CLEAR that there was a problem on their end. I asked them why they needed to come back - and did that mean that they hadn't even started working on our order yet. They assured me that we were on track and all was ok. 3. The day after the re-measure, they told me they can no longer do the job that we agreed to do. They all of a sudden "didn't offer that service anymore." The "service" was turning a window into a door. This is a window company. So, why did this change suddenly??? I was given no explanation. But, was forced to rush to find a contractor who could do the install of the doors since Champion was backing out of our deal. I finally found someone who could do it so I agreed to change the original contract to remove the installation of the new French doors. 4. The date that our doors and windows were to be finished came and went and there was no contact at all from this company. It was ALWASY ME who had to reach out to them via email or text (because calling is a complete waste of your time - you'll get the runaround and when you do get a human being, they'll be SO RUDE TO YOU - AS IF YOU'VE DONE SOMETHING WRONG TO THEM! IT'S UNREAL!!!!! The company could and would never give me a date that the doors would be in. They simply didn't know nor care - they cleary didn't want to do this job. A MONTH after our due date, I ended up canceling the whole contract all together. THEY KEPT OUR MONEY!!!!!!!!! THEY ONLY REFUNDED A TINY PORTION OF WHAT WE PAID THEM. THEY NEVER DID A SINGLE BIT OF WORK ON OUR DOORS OR WINDOWS AND THEY COULDN'T TELL US WHEN THEY WOULD. THIS IS REASON FOR TERMINATION OF A CONTRACT! BUT, THEY KEPT THOUSAND AND THOUSANDS of our dollars. My husband is a public school teacher of over 20 years. WE DO NOT DESERVE TO BE ROBBED FROM THESE PEOPLE LIKE THIS. I can't stress enough to RUN from these people. Don't waste your time or money. Also, hire an attorney. That's what we've had to do. Pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Also, they are SO EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!! DO YOUR HOMEWORK, Y'ALL!!!!!!!!)

Horrible customer service. I called the installation manager, John Lawless, whose phone number I had after I contracted with Champion for my window replacement project. John informed me that he had not worked for Champion for about 6 months and then he told me where he was working and how they manufacture great quality windows for an affordable price. I wanted to speak with John after receiving multiple postcards from Champion that my windows were already in process and then I got another card that they were 6 to 8 weeks from completion. I was ecstatic because I thought they would take much longer. I called Champion and Jasmine, service support specialist, told me that they were NOT 6 to 8 weeks from completion. I asked who my installation manager was and she told me Lee. I asked for his full name and number and she told me she could not give that information out to me and he would eventually contact me. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me that my installation manager would contact me in 48 hours. I asked to speak to corporate management and she refused. I then asked for the CEO and she told me his name was Todd but refused to give a full name (although google would identify any corporate officer) or email address. I am disgusted with the customer service that I am receiving and the mixed and bungled messaging about my window replacement project. I chose Champion, in part, because of great customer service and I feel blindsided and sold a bunch of bologna. I would NEVER recommend Champion to any of my friends or neighbors based upon this experience. Unhappy customer, Natalie

My elderly mother contracted with Champion Windows to build a "four seasons" porch in July 2021 and paid a large deposit at that time. Champion has repeatedly told her that they are still "waiting for permit approval", leading us to believe that the delay is due to county permit approval. However, upon contacting the county permit office, she was told that Champion never applied for a permit for my project. In addition, Champion corporate office said that no materials have been ordered for my project. It has been 9 months since my mother gave Champion a deposit, and the time and material delays have been 100% within their control. Now they are telling her that if she cancels the contract she will lose her entire deposit, but if she doesn't cancel the contract they can not tell her how much longer it will be before installation of the porch will begin. She has contacted her sales rep, the District sales manager, and the project installation manager, and none of them are willing to do the right thing and return my mother's deposit, despite their being in breach of contract. We believe they used deceptive sales tactics to entice her to sign a contract quickly and put down a large deposit in order to obtain a "discount" on the price, and now they won't honor their commitments in a timely manner nor will they return her deposit. Do not use this company for any home improvement projects. Read all reviews of this company, especially the one star reviews, and you will see numerous complaints with similar issues.

Sunroom and Patio Service
4 months and still the project has not started. No one calls for status updates and no one returns calls. I have an open contract with Champion for a Sunroom installation that was started in April 2021. There has only been 1 follow up call since I signed the contract. I waited several weeks giving the order time to process before initiating a call for status. 8 weeks in I call for a status update and no one could give me one and was told someone would call me back. I continued to call for follow up with promises of a return call that never happened. Finally after asking several times for a manager days later someone finally called me back. I was told that my initial project manager was no longer with the company but that someone should have still followed up and that I would get a status update by the manager. Days and days and finally manager called and apologized and said they would keep me posted with a start date. Weeks later I finally received a start date of Aug 25. I called and emailed on Aug 23 asking if we are still on schedule to start on the 25th. Here we are Aug 27 and no one has called or responded to email. I copied every person on my contract as well as every name I could get when I call the office to try to get someone to follow up. Each time I call, I'm told they would have the project manager return my call. Each time I tell them no one ever returns my calls and I would continue to follow up. The last emailed I outlined my request for project status so I don't keep getting told my project is being worked. I've asked if the permit has been requested and received, what date was the order put in and ETA on material. I was told I would need electrical panel and have asked several times for a quote and no return of calls or emails. I will NEVER do business with this company again. If I could cancel my contract without losing money I've already start paying, I would cancel this contract and use another company. If they are not staffed correctly or cannot obtain material, the customer should be notified, kept informed and at least get responses from emails or phone calls. This is the worse contract I've ever had and I'm stuck with it. After researching other reviews this is a common issue with their customer service. Finally got a hold of a manage and my install date went from August 25 to October! I hate this company

We could not have asked for a better representative, Todd Schaffner, was the best. His demonstration of the product and how it is made was outstanding. Todd's professionalism, friendliness, and politeness was a bonus. He explained everything, answered any questions that we had. Our appointment with Todd was on June 29, 2021, and at time we made the decision to place an order for 18 replacement windows. Today, Aug. 8,2001, Daniel and his crew delivered our windows, installed them. cleaned up everything. We could not have been more impressed with their, politeness and professionalism. They did an awesome job. We we recommend this company any time. Robert and June Russell

Original salesperson was pushy and spent more time bashing other window companies than telling me why their windows are great. I had to remind him that he was in my house because I wanted to do business with champion, and that he can save that for other customers. He went on and on and was disappointed that we had a conflict 90 minutes into our appointment time slot (he was also 60 minutes late). I called customer service and ended up doing the sale with the local sales Manager, this felt like a good experience and we signed a contract. That is when it all went downhill again. Poor communication from sale to install date, had no visibility to where we were at in process from signature on contract to measure and from measure to manufacture and install. When following up got minimal response other than that my windows could take up to 8 weeks to manufacture. Got a call from installer to schedule install date for same week (this was great and exciting, I moved around personal and professional conflicts to accommodate the install, moved and rescheduled other house projects such as painting and sod around this) only to find out that the installer warehouse didn’t have my windows and called me because someone shared a last name with me. Almost 3 months out from quote I am told another 3-4 weeks but no specific date. I don’t have my windows, my house is in disarray after moving furniture for install this morning. Asked to speak with a leader in the company multiple times and did not get in contact with anyone. Would not recommend this company as they did not deliver on their promise of great service and customer satisfaction. As I am writing this I wonder if I will ever see these windows.

Champion Representative Mike Bradley came out (ON TIME!) and gave us a great demonstration of the superior quality of Champion Windows and very good information on why we can trust Champion windows! Champion makes their own windows (only one who does). Champion sells their own windows. Champion delivers their own windows and Champion installs their own windows. THE BUCK STOPS THERE! No run arounds trying to find out who did what to damage or fail in the process. It's all Champion people and they have a proven track record of customer satisfaction Mike Bradley did a great job showing us all the window features that makes Champion Windows a superior product. He also answered questions and demonstrated the heat reducing (and retaining features in winter) of Champion windows. I'm really not into sales people as a rule (let alone coming to my house) but Mike was Great! The representative came out to measure our windows on time as he said he would and told us when we could expect our windows to be ready! We are VERY IMPRESSED with Champion's professionalism and their punctuality! We are very excited about our getting our new windows installed in the very near future!

ABC ANYBODY BUT CHAMPION - Quick to give quote, quick to take deposit. Job promised 14-18 weeks. It is been 7 months and still no porch. No communication - no return phone calls. I am so close to losing my deposit so I can hire someone else just to get the job done. Please don't be suckered in, like I was.

If you want quality and longevity of your windows\door, you need to pick Champion. They are not the cheapest but you will get what you pay for and more with a peace of mind warranty. Other window companies will have cheaper windows but they will not have the quality and lifetime replacement warranty. Yes, it is a lifetime warranty and a replacement glass warranty for any reason. Someone tried to break into my house through the windows. They broke the glass and I thought Champion was going to replace the glass, they came out and replaced the entire windows. The replacement windows was the same windows (style, color, etc..) as the other windows. I have not evened talked about the sound barrier and the nice temperature of my house with the Champion glass technology. I will recommend Champion over any and all of the name brand window/door companies. As far as I’m concerned, they have no competition in this industry.

If we could give 0 stars we would! Our experience with Champion was less than stellar. In fact, from the beginning of this process in June until now it has been horrendous. My wife was pressured by a sales rep to make a quick decision because the offer she was given was ending soon. We ordered three full double hung windows at a cost of $4000. We made the deposit of $2000 on June 25, 2020 but our windows were not installed until August 24, 2020 – two weeks later than the date we were promised. Since we are in a pandemic, we understood the possibility of timing issues but were never contacted by anyone at Champion to let us know there would be a delay. We were not given the windows we purchased. We paid for a premium product. The windows we received were the standard product and one of them was cracked. The installer apologized and indicated that someone would return in two weeks to repair the cracked window. We were not satisfied with this and immediately contacted Champion customer service to let them know about the issues. The person we spoke with stated that someone would contact us promptly regarding the problems. We waited patiently for over a week but had no response so we called again without a positive result. We spoke to several customer service representatives but got nowhere. We left numerous messages with no return calls. Finally, after three months of being given the run around, we got a call from a representative who put us in contact with the national customer service rep. This was the week of November 16, 2020. He called us and we were unavailable but called him back as soon as we were able and left a message. His voicemail stated that he had a 24 hour turn around for messages. We called four additional times and left voicemails but we did not hear from him again for five days. The only reason we were able to make contact with him then is because we called customer service – again – and explained our inability to reach him. The person we spoke to worked in the same building and was able to get him to call us back the same day. From the beginning of the call he was very rude. He denied that his outgoing message indicated a 24 hour turn around. He then accused us of blackmail and extortion because we explained that we would be contacting the BBB and other consumer review sites to warn other people how this company operates. We told him that we do not want their product. We want them to take the windows back since they were not the correct product and give us a refund. He said Champion would not honor our request. We even tried to compromise by accepting the incorrect windows for the amount of the deposit we paid since there was a substantial cost difference. He insisted that Champion return and install the correct windows. It took 5+ months to even reach someone to discuss the issues we had with the company. We were not interested in dragging this out any further. We wanted these windows installed before fall so we could renovate the exterior of our home before it got too cold. That project is now on indefinite hold because of the problems we’ve had with Champion. It should not take six months to resolve an issue and we have never dealt with a company that was so lacking in customer service. We reiterated that this situation reflected poorly on the company and asked to speak with someone else in authority, He told us he was the head of customer service and that he was the only person we could talk to about our issues. His exact quote was that he was “the highest of the high in the company” next to the CEO. The conversation became heated and Nick hung up while still talking to him. After this exchange we found the CEO’s information online and reached out to explain our disappointment but never received a response. A few days later we called customer service – again – and indicated that we need a resolution but stressed that we did not want to speak with that particular person. We were directed to the VP of Human Resources. At first we thought she was going to be helpful but as the discussion progressed we realized she was more interested in talking down to us than taking responsibility for their problems. After another heated conversation, she finally agreed that Champion needed to find a resolution that would be satisfactory for us. After ten days we received a phone call from the CS rep. The conversation was more heated and ugly than before. This time we ended the call. Champion Windows is a terrible company. From day one they have exhibited terrible customer service. Had we not contacted them there would not have been any attempts to make this situation right. At this point we have no reason to believe Champion will follow through on any offers to rectify the problem. We are happy to return the windows and get refunded our deposit and to never have to deal with Champion ever again. Buyer Beware!!
