Showed up w 1 painter, 1 supervisor who was working on other jobs at the same time. Took FOREVER to complete, then when we were sick of calling and asking when they would ever finish, we paid to get them out of our lives! Turns out we should have inspected closer, paint started peeling, some of the items on the contract never were completed such as replacing of fascia, trim which we forgot about since it took months to get it mostly completed. We had a garage sale and a professional painter noticed the paint job, we got talking, he said it was terrible quality. The spots where the paint had come off or was scraped off, wasn't filled in and smoothed out. We had to complain, make threats to get that done and we're still waiting for the painter to return to repair trim, fascia, smooth out, repaint another section. I think they're stringing me along until the warranty expires!! DON'T PAY UNTIL YOU DO A CLOSE INSPECTION WITH THESE GUYS!!
"All the work mentioned was repaired after the customer brought this to my attention. The initial job over 18 months ago took longer to complete due to the time of the year and one of the wettest years in the history of metro Atlanta. We made the decison to take longer as not to cut corners around moisture sitting on the home. The items we are waiting to go back for now are items of wood rot that have appeared more than a year after the painting was complete. Rotten wood is not an item that is covered under warranty but I made the offer to replace the items for the customer at no charge if they could be flexible within my schedule."
After the labor was complete, the owner and I walked the property...as they consider the project to be over only when the customer is satisfied. .
We missed a couple of small things on inspection day, but CertaPro returned to make it right. This act told me that they are a company of their word. I will definitely be using them again.
"I agree that the job did not go according to plan. Every effort was made to correct the mistakes. In terms of the "putty" issue the same product gets used on over 150 homes per yea and this problem has never occurred. The melting issue is attributed to the significant temperature differential between the outside and inside of the home. The house is kept in the 60's due the customer's health issues. This caused considerable condensation on the windows. A representative of the manufacturer of the putty was brought in and given the information about the temperature, application and condition of the windows. He advised us that the temperature difference was causing the failure. The customer did turn up the central air as much as his health could tolerate and we even put thick plastic on the inside of the windows to try and increase the temperature. It help for a while but based on the above mentioned it clearly failed in the coming months."

The owner Brett was polite and very responsive from our first interaction through the end of the of the project.
I had to match current colors on the exterior due to HOA requirements. I did not have the current paint of paint colors but Brett and his team were able to match the paint perfectly.
The painters communicated prior to there arrival on the first day and each night before they left to what the progress was and what was to be done the next day.
Brett checked in a regular basis via email and in person at the house.
I had a great experience and will definitely use them again when the time comes.
Brett came to my offices and very professionally and methodically looked at all the work required and measurements.
A recommendation to color that would be suitable and some repairs that had to be made.
He sent me a quote within a day that I accepted for the job to be done within the following week.
All work completed on time and his two painters were most courteous and professional.
They after completing the work, cleaned up and left no mess at all.
I have recommended CertaPro Painters of Dunwood to two of my friend, and they are most satisfied.
