I did not realize he was a GC and hired out all the work. The job took twice as long to complete than was estimated. During the job, my walls and trim were damaged with gouges. My glass stovetop was cracked and it was not when the job began. I was unable to use my kitchen for 2 weeks. I was charged for items not quoted or agreed to after completion of the job. My furniture was not covered and windows/doorways to other rooms were not covered so dust went everywhere in my home. He did not clean up after the job was complete and would not replace the stove top. He attemped to repair and repaint but used the wrong color of paint and did not repair all the damage. He charged different amounts than were quoted and added expenses that were not approved. I was over charged by $700 and had to spend $1,300 to repair the damage done to my walls, trim, furniture, and replace my glass stove top.
