We recently had a move with multiple pickup locations over multiple days and we could not have been happier with our experience! I would recommend Bulldog to anyone - they do what they say they're going to do when they say that they're going to do it. Deon and his crew were total class. You can't go wrong with these guys!

Crew arrived 40 minutes late. We had worked out a deal for bookshelves attached to a wall to be moved and reinstalled. Crew boss balked at having to take them down, did not mark each individual piece until I reminded him that they would be reinstalling them in the new location. Then said he was not allowed to bolt anything to the wall. Funny this didn't come up when I contracted for the work! Move took 2x longer than they estimated. I am not sure I would use them again.

terrible!!! They were 2 hours late in arriving. The job should have taken 5 to 5 1/2 hours max, and I was charged for 7. The crew arrived and did not have a tool box with them to take desks apart, they had only one short hand truck And several dollies. The crew worked hard, but did not know how to move desks, file cabinets or office equipment. They had to try and decide how to move an item before moving it, they should have know. The driver had only been with the company for one month and this was his first office move. The two helpers had a combined 6 months with the company. Again, the guys worked hard, but did not have the training or supervision needed to be making a move. This was the first time any of them had worked together. At the end, the paperwork got messed up and corporate called to tell me I owed more money. I explained what had happened and they said they would not charge me the extra hour, but I never got a follow up call or anything from management. This was very disappointing. Apparently they do not care about their customers.

I used Bulldog eight years ago for a local move and had a wonderful experience. So when it came time for a long distance move, I immediately called Bulldog again. I was sorely disappointed. The movers were later than expected, having a high volume of work and having to pick up an extra truck. I was okay with that and understood, as it was summer. Then, as they put my furniture on the trucks, no mattress bags were used and no wrap was used for my recliners and sofa (all leather) either. My mattresses were dirty upon arrival and one of my leather recliners has holes in the back. The roll of plastic wrap that is used was in one of their carts with the mattress pads. This could have been prevented if they had used proper precaution. Although they tore down my master bed, once they arrived, they did not set it up, and proceeded to load boxes in the room, making it near impossible to set it up for that evening. My husband had to move almost every single box in the room in order to set up the bed so we could sleep that night. They also did not break down a twin bed frame, and loaded it fully set up in a storage unit (a huge waste of space). When arriving at my old house, they removed a nut from the storm door so they could get in and out more easily - understandable. However, they never replaced it. I also provided water and Gatorade for the movers, and found the bottles littering my yard, even though trash cans were available. Part of my belongings had to go into storage, and they stood my sofa on end. Now my husband and I have to re-stack the entire storage unit because they did not load the furniture in it properly (bookshelves are in the middle of the room, instead of against a wall and things are horribly disorganized and space is inefficiently used).
When I called to let them know of these issues, I spoke with Lori Mullinax. She asked that I email her so that she could answer my concerns point by point, which I did. After getting all the details of my move, along with my issues, I got no response. I had to email her again, and got nothing other than I had a $300 deductible which should fix the chair that was damaged. I did not receive any apologies for the poor service or behavior of the crew.
I am not new to the world of moving - my family has moved numerous times (this was my personal 12th move, and all but 2 of them have been long distance). My family has also worked for moving companies and owned moving companies. I will never use Bulldog Movers again and will greatly discourage anyone from using them. They may not have broken anything or been rude, but you can definitely receive better service somewhere else for the same amount of money.

They were responsive. They called me fairly promptly. I gave them the information and we were able to set up a schedule. They showed up when they were supposed to. They had the right number of people there. They moved the stuff out. It wasn't a simple move, because the stuff that was removed from one condominium had to be delivered to three different locations. They did a fine job and they did it very quickly. They were professional and knew what they were doing.

Overall went well. We all know that moving is not fun and is very stressful. My only comment is that it seems that towards the end of the move out, crew got impatient and tried to cram things into truck.

During the move out in July 2013 the crew complained most of the day regarding their work. The crew leader did not allow them to take a break. When they damaged a wall the crew leader tried to convince me to not call it in to the office. I called the representative regarding what happened and his response was slow and he did not follow thru as promised. Bulldog movers gave me a 10% discount for my trouble. As far as the move in it was much better. The crew was professional, prompt and was careful with my things. If I had to grade individually the move out was an F The move in was an A Average grade. C

The boss was on vacation and was hard to get in touch with him. They didn't show up on the day they were supposed to. They came back and gave about a 25% discount for all trouble. They did an excellent job. Everything was fine. They were very polite and helpful. They even helped us put some of the furniture together.

Experience was horrible. I had some items stolen from this company while they moved me. Management and the owners were unresponsive to me as a customer. I'd recommend moving services from other companies.
Response from Bulldog Movers Inc
"We have responded to the alleged stolen items. They are being handled in a professional manner. The investigation is ongoing and we hope to be resolved soon."

They called before arrival and came on time, got right to work and finished in 5 hours, we were impressed. No damages. The crew was pleasant. We really liked the fact that there were 4 of them. The kept a brisk pace an never seemed tired, in spite of the fact it was 90 outside...

They still haven't paid us what we were insured for. They only sent us a partial payment. When I called them to notify them that the dresser was damaged and they only gave us $250 when we paid over $500. They gave us a piece of garbage as a replacement. I was also missing some earrings that I would cost me $300 to replace and they only gave me over $100 for each of them that were missing. They wouldn't pay. The move was insured for $20000 and anything that needed to be replaced was done at today's value. We spent over $2000. They're not trustworthy and the piece the broke off the chest, they threw the piece out. My dresser was wrapped in Georgia and it was unwrapped in Florida. They are very disgusting and I would never recommend them. They billed the cheque to my old address in Georgia and that was stupid because they moved me from Georgia to Florida. They're really quick to take your money for insurance and they won't honor your insurance.
Response from Bulldog Movers Inc
"The customer did receive compensation for the dresser and the missing earrings. An adjustor was sent to review the damage and we compensated them based on that report. We feel that she was fairly compensated."

Pete and his team were great. They quickly moved our 2 room office and explained everything each step of the way. We had quite a few Ikea pieces which don't really move well but we had good luck with most and we're back up and running at the new location. We booked last minute and were able to get an appointment the same week. I would definitely use them again for future moves.
Response from Bulldog Movers Inc
"[member name], This is exactly why we stay in business because we love to get positive feedback from our very special clients! No matter what the circumstances surrounding the move, Bulldog wants to be right there helping you every step of the way. Thanks a million Kristina for giving us a thumbs up! Camille Turner"

Buckhead movers was recommended to us by a neighbor who used their service last year. I am so happy we called them. Estimator Liz R. did a thorough inventory and gave us options for full service pack and move as well as partial pack with move. Items were well packed and arrived with no damage, even delicate crystal. Crew leader (T.P.) and his men were careful with furniture, floors, and walls in both houses. Best of all, they were finished quickly and under budget!

The movers were pleasant. They asked us if we minded that our things be moved with someone elses because the size of our move was small. Although they wrapped everything pretty well. A couple of the boxes were split open, and I'm missing 2 pieces of jewelry. That happened to be one of the boxes that was split open. My dresser had a piece broken off of it, and unfortunately I don't have it to glue back on. Now we have a zero deductible and we're being sent from one place to another for the claim. If it had just been clothes, it wouldn't have been an issue. Hopefully I don't have a problem getting this sorted out, as they have been communicating with me.
Response from Bulldog Movers Inc
"We offered to replace the chest and we sent her a settlement on the jewelry and the chest. She has the check. A waiver is signed by each customer that they are responsible for moving their jewelry and anything of importance like documents etc. We have communicated with her many, many times to get things settled with them and it is now."

I was charged double the quote. It took them 2 days not 1 day. They tracked mud into my brand new house. They broke a light fixture, a paintIng, a table, and the stone top to matching bedside tables and an outdoor planter. I was told the muddy carpet was not covered and to send in 3 photos of each damaged item. Then i was asked to submit quotes for items that ranged from 2-20 years of age. they would not match the stone on the table to the one not damaged (what does one do with mismatched bedside tables?). it took me over 6 months to get my damaged items repaired and reinstalled and countless phone calls, emails and texts. the moving company that did bring my possessions back was not even Bulldog Movers.
to add insult to injury, the occasional table that was repaired just broke again and Sherry, the rep for Bulldog Movers, said it was MY responsibility to contact the person THEY contracted to repair it again!
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET!!!!!!!!

"[member name removed], Allow me to apologize for not providing you with the level of service that you expected from us last year. In all honesty, I can't imagine what you went through during this process, and unfortunately, I was not employed here at the time of your move so I can't comment on it; although, I can assure you that a vast amount of changes have taken place in the last few months. We have replaced the previous rep that you dealt with during the claim process and have developed shorter turnaround times for the entire claim process. I apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you when you needed us the most. Sincerely, Camille Turner"

I was happy with my experience with Bulldog Movers. They arrived on time. They were professional. They didn't break any of my stuff. Think twice before you use a cheap mover or a fly by night company. Bulldog Movers is insured. They are professional movers. So you know they are going to take care of your stuff. I don't understand all the negative reviews here. I had a very positive experience with them. This is the third time I have used them. They are great. Check out their rating with the Better Business Bureau. I think this is a great company to do business with.

The guys who moved the items did a good job. We did not like though that we had to pay double the estimated price. It took 13 hours to move us. The truck that they brought was small and did not fit everything in. My husband had to move some stuff himself.
Response from Bulldog Movers Inc
"[member name removed], Certainly I can see where you experienced some frustration within your move and if you are anything like myself, I want to move quick, fast, and in a hurry to get this task over with as moving can be a dreaded obstacle to face. What I have to remind myself is that moving quickly can cause damages especially if the movers get tired after a long day so in order to make sure that my items are properly cared for, a longer move ensures that it is a successful move. What we have done to ensure that the estimated price is very close to the price you actually pay is to provide more accurate estimates by providing a onsite quote. This allows us to visibly see the items you are moving, unlike estimates done over the phone where items can be left out. I hope this helps [member name removed]! Camille Turner"

I have the same amount of furniture that I've had in the last four years. I have had to move a lot for my work and in the past used a different company to handle all my moves. The movers I used in the past were very efficient and were able to load and unload in 11 hours. I have always seen Bull Dog Movers trucks in the area so I decided to hire them. It took them over 8 hours to load and 2 hours to drive 15 miles. I found out they ended up taking a half hour for lunch. They had five guys, only two of them were working. I don't blame the guys that were not working, I blame the supervisor, because he wouldn't let them. They told me they couldn't haul any liquid chemicals. The liquid chemicals turned out to be normal household items. We ended up having to put our tide, shampoo, and other "chemicals" in our car to haul. When they got to the new house, they started unloading the items. They ended up damaging my 3300 stainless steel refrigerator and dryer. I submitted pictures to the company to cover damages. It ended up taking them forever to get back to me, so I ended up getting those appliances fixed on my own. The other company I used in the past only had two guys and they knocked it out faster than these 5 guys. This company ended up charging me by the hour, which I did not like at all. I want to warn others before they think about hiring this company.

"[member name removed], I wish that we could make all of our customers happy everyday and it sounds like we failed to deliver the high quality expectations that were placed upon us. I apologize for the delay in the claim that you faced and I am not sure how long you had to wait on a response from us; however, I can say that when a claim is filed, there is a process and several departments do get involved in this process so it can take some time. We have gotten this process down to 14 business days in 2014. I apologize that you weren't satisfied with our services. Sincerely, Camille Turner"

They moved some of our items into our house and some into a storage locker until we moved into our new house. They did not log the items that were put into the storage locker, therefore when we asked for them to be delivered they could not find them. We have not been able to come to an agreement about compensation for the lost items. They also broke some of our furniture. The whole move was a nightmare and I am still frustrated to this day. The missing items total about $1,500.
Response from Bulldog Movers Inc
"In the moving industry a customer freely chooses valuation. Valuation is coverage should anything be lost or damaged. Each person must make their own decision regarding the valuation. The member choose $300 depreciated value, valuation. What this means is that the maximum pay out to a customer is $300. This is the maximum we are willing to give this customer."
