Two very large limbs broke off a tree in our front yard recently, and fell on the power lines. After the limbs were removed and our power was restored, we had to hire an electrician to reattach the lines to the house. I found Bright Idea Electric on Angi. This company responded immediately to my service request. Jamaal Wilson, the owner, came out the next day. He did the job, and also installed an overhead light fixture in our kitchen. He inspected our breaker box as well. We were very satisfied with the work, and the price was right! We highly recommend Bright Idea Electric.

If you are looking for an electrician, look no further. My wife and I bought a house built in 1969 and the electric panel has not been updated. Seriously we only had 100 amps and were not supposed to use any appliances. That's unacceptable. I asked a bigger electric company for an estimate and was given a higher and lower quote for the necessary vs needed changes. Bright Idea almost literally charged half of what they would for twice the number of line items! In fact, I didn't even think to add outlets to the exterior of the house. Now I don't have to run an extension cord though a window to do yard work. Jamaal and his team are absolute professionals. They show up on time (rare in Atlanta), are faithfully responsive to text or calls, they clean up after themselves, and are extremely knowledgeable. We love our new home and have found the electrician for all future projects and repairs. Thank you Jamaal and Bright Idea.

The project should have taken two days, but Jamal and his team were able to finish it in one. Very professional and helpful/consultative. I am very happy with the end product will hire again.

Very reliable and honest! Jamaal came out and took care of my blown electrical outlets like a true professional. He quickly resolved my old faulty outlets by replacing them all with new ones. He also went out of his way to ensure my tenant knew how to properly reset the outlets and provided her with safety tips to avoid hazards by using faulty appliances.
