The piano turner that I had been using moved out of state last year. I checked Angie's List for someone in my area and found Brian McClure listed with high ratings. I contacted him, got his price schedule and was able to schedule an appointment to fit my schedule. He arrived exactly on time, was very professional and knowledgeable about what needed to be done to both pianos. After examining both pianos, he determined that only a tuning was needed and gave me a firm price which was very reasonable for tuning both pianos. Being a professional musician, its extremely important to me that my instruments are tuned correctly and work as they should. I am very pleased with the tunings and plan to use him on a regular basis.

Brian called the day before to remind us of the appointment, came on the day and time he had scheduled and was here two hours to tune our seriously out-of-tune piano. He was professional, explaining all the intricacies of tuning and answering all our questions. He was friendly and knowledgable on the subject matter of pianos. And, to our delight, at the end of the tuning gave us a brief concert. We just wish it had lasted longer!
We will definitely call him again to tune our piano.

Brian did a great job tuning our newly purchased Kimball console piano. We bought it used, and although it had to be tuned a few times as it was terribly out of tune (it hadn't been tuned in many years), it now sounds great! He arrived on time, and also called the day before to confirm the appointment. Brian is very professional, knowledgeable about his industry, and a great piano player! After he finished tuning, he graciously played us a few songs to try out the new sound - terrific! Glad we found him - we'll definitely be calling him for our next tuning.

Where can I begin. First off, Brian is extremely professional and answered all the emails I sent to him in less then a few hours. One day of the service, he called to give a time when we can expect him at our house. The day of the service, I looked at the time and it was exactly at 11:00 AM, he was at the door. I was so surprised about his punctuality. I have never met any business that was so perfect in arriving at the time they mentioned. He first took the time to introduce himself and he started in working on my piano. He first went through the piano and then told me what was wrong, the price for the service. He then took his time to get the piano back into normal sound. I have never heard this piano sound like this, even when the it was delivered from the store 15 years ago. I am so happy I took the advice from Angie's list and called him. It was fully worth the price I paid. I felt bad that he was working on it for so long. He played a few songs and I was so happy to hear the piano come alive. WOW. What a difference.
One thing I must say about Mr. McClure. He is such a professional and friendly person, I will never call anyone but him for all my piano tunings in the future. He is such a nice guy, period.

I received my mother's 40 year old Wurlitzer upright piano that was badly in need of a tune up. I saw Brian listed as an A rates piano tuner in my area on Angie's List and gave him a call. We set up a time immediately, and he sent me several reminders prior to our appointment. Brian arrived on time and gave me a couple options to repair my piano. He tuned the piano perfectly, and now my 13 year old daughter is ecstatic that she has a real piano to play . I would strongly recommend Brian to anyone needing piano work.

My piano has not sounded or played this well in several years. Brian did a great job diagnosing and repairing the problems. Brian had tuned the piano a month ago. It needed a lot of work having been ignored for over 30 years. He recommended it be regulated, which we later agreed to and scheduled. It took all day. Work was done well and met estimate.

I contacted Brian by telephone, and we arranged a date and time for service. He was quite flexible with respect to availability. He was punctual, arriving at the agreed time. He was courteous. He also was very knowledgeable about pianos. He spotted all the repairs that I had previously had done. He gave me a price and set to work. He completed the work in a reasonable amount of time. I am very pleased with how my piano now sounds.

He is excellent, reasonable, and did a great job on my piano. He's never worked on a Knight Piano before but he did a great job. It is very old and had unusual features that he commented on but it never influenced him being able to complete the tuning.
