If I could give them zero stars I would. Over the 2+ years we worked with Blayz, the quality of their bi-weekly maintenance deteriorated. Whenever we raised concerns with the owner, we were met with excuses and push back. We fired them when they did a really poor job before the holidays, the owner refused to fix the problems, and then he accused my wife of being uncooperative and hostile with his laborers; my wife never spoke with the owner or his laborers in her life. Blayz is expensive relative to other landscape companies (we've since hired a better firm for less), their work quality is mediocre at best, and the owner is very difficult to work with. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

We had scheduled two other estimates, when Aaron called us and asked how our search was going. I told him about the other possibilities and he said "let me know how your search goes and we are ready to serve your yard care needs". Of course we went with his company and are very pleased.When he texted us about our lawn my first words to him were "wow great first impression.

Eric was very accommodating. He gave a rough estimate over the phone and even came by while we were at work to inspect the job site. He managed setting up the city to come out and mark the gas lines so as to not create a costly issue when digging. He and his crew showed up early and walked through all the work items to be completed confirming all the specifics including sprinkler system recommendations. The work was completed quickly and Eric even texted photos of progress while I was at work. By the time I got home, all was completed and I was very pleased with the results.

We have followed your instructions re: watering 15 mins/day. You suggested mulching when cutting so I hired someone with a mulching mower. It appears to me that an excessive amount of wheat straw was laid down & there is no grass coming up. What can you do to make this right. Michael N

"We suggested re-sodding the entire front lawn. Mr. N insisted we over-seed. We suggested after over-seeding the lawn that we continue to monitor and treat the lawn for a fair price over the next several months. The lawn was severely damaged and weed infested when we began service. It is difficult to over-seed fescue in early May. Without a proper irrigation system, it is hard to maintain a fescue lawn in this Georgia Heat!! I offered Mr. N a complete Sod installation of his front lawn at cost to me after viewing this rating. We are hoping to hear back from him!"

Aaron and his team installed over 6800 SF of sod for us. While the sod is still being nurtured, the detailed preparation and organization was quite impressive. After talking to some other contractors, we selected Blay'z Turf Pro becasue of the detailed preparation that was described. It may have cost us some additional money, but we have the piece of mind that the job was done right. Aaron has followed up to make sure that our new lawn will turn out to be the showpiece that he predicted. They installation crew was very prompt and curteous as well. Thanks again to Aaron & Ronnie for providing such a quick turn around on the project.

I thought when they stated the leaves would be removed from my property it meant actually removing them, not blowing them in a pile and running over them with their lawn mower.

I would only recommend Blayz because of the work that they did finish was satisfactory. However, there was some work that was not done (i.e. some bushes left unpruned) and they blew debris (leaves, grass and threw branches) into my stream, having me to remove it at a later date. Also, I was very dissapointed in the communication...or lack there of. The workers left without informing me that they were done. I thought that they went to lunch but they never returned and I called Blayz, spoke to Aaron and was told that because the put in four hours they did more than what I was supposed to have been billed for...which was for two hours.

"Ms. Hall was given an estimate for a Property Clean-up which was estimated to take 2.5 hrs. My employees worked closely under Ms. Hall's supervision for 4.0 hrs. Mr. Blay inspected the property with great detail and found all work to be completed properly. This customer is currently past-due on account."
