His plans were defective (structrual members in the design were inadequate for loads), he did not build to the plans, and most all the work performed down to simple painting was defective. We had to issue stop work order in June due to large number and severity of mounting defects Mr Blake has refused to address. We then hired structural engineer to assess -- engineer's report concluded Blake's work has caused structural damage to our house. Blake had his own engineer in inspect and still refused to address after his own engineer concurred with structural deficiencies. Blake has become very hostile, confrontational and threatning. We are investigating legal action.
"The majority of this review is factually inaccurate and unjustified. The false statements here are as follows: • Our company does not draft drawings; we work with licensed, reputable architects and use only stamped, approved drawings. We don’t work with defective plans. • We followed the drawings in all instances, except as directed by the homeowner. We performed these change orders only when requested, and we never received payment for them. • We refused to complete any additional change orders without receiving payment. When the customer refused to sign an order and pay for another change, we chose to cease work. • None of our work caused structural damage to this residence. Our engineer’s report concluded that our work did not cause structural damage to the home. It was reported that there were pre-existing conditions. • In response to her legal investigation comment, a cursory internet search will reveal public records which demonstrate her history of seeking legal actions/lawsuits.
