Bennett is the exact kind of company I never want to hire. I expected that as part of signing a $4,660 yearly lawn maintenance
agreement, something as basic as edging my driveway would be done. But -- no.
After their two visits and unanswered quality control request, I was alarmed and told them I need to cancel my contract.
In the end, we settled and they billed me, -- to quote and quot;$39.00 X 10 man hrs =$390.00and quot; This was for mowing my small lawn and deadheading perennials in two small islands. As part of deadheading, they pulled out 3 hardy lantana's and 1 Clementis on May
6th visit. This showed me that they can’t tell weed apart from perennials.)
The company’s sales person, Garon Theron was quick to send out Danielle, a landscape designer to sell more services. However, my and her complaint that certain basics were not done (e.g. edging,) he told me over the phone that it'll take 4 visits to get it done.

"We’re sorry you felt our service was unsatisfactory. Unfortunately, we needed a lot of time to get your property into good shape, since it had not been maintained and needed a lot of work. We offered the client a one-time clean up fee to get the property into order, but the client opted to have the crew complete the work over a period of time. When we started service, 2-3 years worth of fallen leaves were in all the planting beds and all shrubs were severely overgrown to the point they completely needed to be reshaped. We spent the largest amount of our allotted time on the property trying to get the property back into shape and cleaning out the beds. We filled up our truck with debris from your property and had two dump fees for the debris and trash removed. Also, because the contract was signed without the knowledge of your husband we did let you out of your one year contract with no penalties, other than asking you to pay for the time that we had spent on your property. We didn’t even charge you for the dump fees associated with your property. Unfortunately, there was a lot of work involved to get the property in shape. We honored her request to cancel the contract and just asked for payment of labor hours on the property. As you can tell from our other reviewers, we always strive to perform the best quality work in the most professional manner and leave with a happy client."

The experience with the Company was very good. The crew was professional and did excellent work. Showed up on time and finished on time. The project did come in a little over budget due to the soil conditions but I was still extremely happy with the outcome overall. I would use the Company's services again...

Bennett does a wonderful job of maintaining my lawn. They check it carefully to see what it needs and do the appropriate treatments. I pay them per visit. They always arrive on time and are very considerate and professional.
