The technician arrived from Belco. I explained my circuit breaker issue in the main panel which had arched and since they were they I mentioned a light switch that was giving my wife problems. The light switch issue was resolved very quickly with a replacement of the switch that was wearing out. The technician then began to troubleshoot the circuit breaker issue. He looked at the breaker, tested the power coming to the breaker, then started looking at the outlets on the circuit. After that didn't show an obvious issue, the technician started checking the wiring near the breaker. At this point the wire coming to the circuit was found to be broken completely apart from the arch. That was a relatively easy repair, but the technician continued to investigate and found and showed me the main common was partially cut from the arch (about 3-5 wires). While this probably would not have caused an issue, the technician wanted to find a way to solve the problem. With a good amount of physical effort and going through my crawl space he was able to get 3-4 inches of "slack" from the lines, cut the main common and power lines, reattach them to the panel and fully resolve the problem. In addition I saw him checking the connections of all the breakers and commons in the panel. The switch on one of the breakers was broken and the technician replaced that also to make sure everything was functioning correctly. After the house power was turned back on the technician checked the voltage to all circuits to make sure the panel was completely functioning. The technician was very professional, cleaned up after the work, was cautious not to spill or drop materials on our furniture and floors, and was very good at coordinating the power shut off with my family. I was very impressed with the completeness of his investigation of the issue and more importantly the repair to make sure everything was done properly and leave things better than when he arrived.

They did a good job and I'd use them again!  This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future as well as recommend them to others.  There were no issues with scheduling, and they were right on time.  I think the price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of their work.

Technician was very professional and the cost was very reasonable.

The entire experience went well, from the point of calling Belco to the service being performed.  The receptionist was very professional and good at gathering details of my issues.  An appointment was set for just a few days later.  The technician arrived earlier than scheduled, after calling ahead to make sure that would be OK.  In the case of the ceiling fan that needed to be repaired, he offered a couple of options, one of which involved him going back to the shop to get a particular part (as opposed to us buying a new fan and having them install it later).  We opted for the replacement part.  The technician was very professional and pleasant.  All in all, a positive experience and I would use them again.

I called Belco this morning because there was an outlet in my kitchen that smelled of burning electrical.  I took the outlet cover off and saw sparks.  The lady at Belco told me she would have someone there by 1:00.  At 11:30 Tim Chastain called and told me he would be there by 12:20 and he was.  I explained the problem and he started checking the circuits.  He found the issue with the outlet after systematic checks all the circuits in the kitchen.  He explained what happened and why it happened.  During the explaination he suggested to move the refrigerator to a dedicated circuit.  He adjusted his schedule to complete all the work during his visit.  He replaced the damaged outlet, ran a dedicated circuit and made sure that all the other outlets were in good working order.
Tim did an outstanding job explaining the work that was being done and what started the problem.  He was very professional, cleaned up after he finished and gave me his business card as he thanked me for my business.  I will certainly keep his business card and if I need future electrical service Belco will get my business.  I will ask for Tim Chastain!!!!

They were wonderful! He had to come out four times as I had a lot of things going wrong that needed service. He did a lot of work. He was very knowledgable and explained everything in detail to me. He didn't try to upsale anything to me and thoroughly went through everything with my house and advised me what I may need in the future. I am very happy with his services.

I’ve worked with them for a number of years and they’ve done a lot of stuff for us. We’ve got one guy in particular, Tim, and he is really great to work with. You just call up and talk to him and he gets everything set up. He actually has the same electrician to come and do all of our work because we like him. He has already done several projects around the house and kind of keeps things consistent. He kind of knows what going on and it’s never a problem; we always just have him come over.

Normal 0 I had no problems at all. The work went off very well.  They were nice and friendly.  They were punctual and even called and came a little early.  They performed the work, made some suggestions and I was completely satisfied.I would use them in the future. Update: The next day, after the electrician left, I noticed my oven was not working, I rarely use it but it does have a clock I took at now and then. I called them back to ask if the electrician could come back to make sure everything in the electrical panel had been put back as it was before their visit. She asked me to check to see if the circuit in the panel had been tripped, it hadn't. Then she told me they don't work on applicances and it would cost me another visit for the electrician to make sure he put the panel back as it was. I will not consider them for future work.

My experience with Belco was very positive. I called them the week after Christmas, and was amazed when they responded to my call. Most companies weren't even open the week after Christmas. They came out on short notice, and were very professional, efficient, and responsive. They have followed up with nice thank you notes. I would definitely use them again.

Jimmy was fast, professional, friendly - everything a landlord looks for - don't want to see him soon but if I have an electrical problem Belco is my first call.

It went very well. Matt was very professional and knowledgeable. I felt like I was in very good hands. He did a great job explaining to me what I needed to do and why. He did not pressure me at all to do anything. He just explained what my situation was and what my options were. I will call them for all of my electrical needs.

They were great. They were very prompt. They were very knowledgeable. My neighbor recommended them to me. Their price was very competitive. They were very efficient.

We were really pleased with this company. We had just had our house cleaned so we were worried there would be a mess if we had them put in ceiling fans and outlets but they cleaned up every little thing. There was no trash or mess after they were done. They were really responsible. They also charged us less money than they originally said they would because I don't think the work we had for them took as much time as they thought it would at first.

The work these men did was really good, but I was very surprised when I finally received the bill. I thought that the price was way over the amount it should have been and even though they were professional and very courteous, I do believe I will shop around before I use them again.
