They were wonderful people. I had made the appointment and he and I were waiting in the hall way because he was resting because he had been out in the sun and he died when I went to get a drink.He waited for me to leave. He must of known I was taking him the next morning because he was in bad shape.

This was my first time using Banfield for annual exam and shots for my two cats. After many years going to the local vet practice around the corner from my house, I was unable to keep up with the high prices I was being charged for routine care for my cats...typically $400+ for the annual visit for each cat!
On a one-off trip to Banfield to have one of my cats checked for itchy ears this summer, I was informed of their wellness plans. I was interested because it would give me the opportunity to spread the cost of annual shots out over the year, teeth cleaning, plus I'd get discounts on other products and services from Banfield including unlimited office visits (normally $38 I believe).
So I bit the bullet and took them there for their annual vet visit and signed them up for the wellness packages.
I was not disappointed by the service and attention they gave me and my cats. I have to say the front office personnel seemed a little disorganized (why I gave B marks on Punctuality and Professionalism) but the tech and the vet were both right on as far as my expectations. The process of exams and tests was pretty slow but I think that was because we had to wait 20 or so minutes for test results to come back.
Dr. Barnes was professional and knowledgeable. Both cats had a clean bill of health other than fleas on the indoor/outdoor cat and the need for teeth cleaning for my older cat. She recommended Revolution which I opted not to purchase there but she told me they would price match. (I bought Frontline+ from Costco instead).
I have a pretty good feeling from my first annual visit to Banfield. In 6 months I'll bring my older cat in for teeth cleaning and we'll see how that goes. Based on this experience I would recommend anyone interested check out Banfield/Buckhead.

We arrived on time, but the getting started process was lengthy and slow. Megan was seen and Dr. McClintock was extremely gentle and thorough in her exam. She asked us specific questions about her health history. They normally take the animals to a back room for tests and shots, but we asked that she stay with us, which was gladly accommodated. The checkout process was again slow, but I think because it was our first appointment. Megan will return in the next couple of weeks to have her teeth cleaned. We will continue to use Dr. McClintock.

I have their insurance. I love the veterinarian there; she seems to be knowledgeable. They run the office more like a person's clinic than a pet clinic. The clinic is very nice, so I have a total trust in them. If I have an emergency then I go to their clinic in a different location, which is close by; otherwise, I go to my routine place because I like the vet there.
