We decided to hire B & B Movers because of several positive reviews that we had read on Google. I am happy to say that the entire experience went extremely smoothly. From the moment the moving crew arrived, it was clear that they knew exactly what and how things needed to be done. In just a few hours, they were able to get all of our furniture and appliances wrapped, loaded in the truck and moved to the storage facility a few miles away from our home. In fact, we were so pleased with the experience, we hired them again the following month when we purchased our new home and needed to get things out of storage. Bottom line, I highly recommend them.

I hired B & B Movers a while back because my family and I were moving to a new home that we had recently purchased.   Moving itself is already a stressful experience, but when you combine that with the expense of hiring professional movers and hoping that none of your possessions get damaged in the process, it can get even more stressful.  After doing some research online, we decided to go with B & B Movers mainly because of their reviews on Kudzu.
On the day of the move I was introduced to Roy who happened to be the manager of our moving crew. Roy was professional and courteous as he explained in detail exactly how his crew would be packaging and moving our belongings.  What really impressed me with the overall process was how efficiently his crew moved our belongings from one house to another.  I have used other companies in the past where they seemed to intentionally drag their feet in order to drive up the clock and the final cost of the move.  Fortunately, this was NOT the case with B & B.  The crew moved like they knew exactly what they were doing and they moved quickly to get it done.
Long story short, the entire process was great from start to finish!!

I requested a 4 man crew to move the process a little faster as all items needed to go down a freight elevator. The crew showed up in the later part of the arrival window. They did an ok job of padding furniture although they were very SLOW in the overall process. I mentioned to the crew that I see A LOT of standing around in which they picked up the pace. They damaged the front door as they moved the sofa. The fourth crew member was of little help, in fact I worked along side to keep them going. At one point they told me that they charge for each pad that is used and they wouldn't charge me as much due to the damage to the door. They do not charge anything other than an hourly rate. I gave the crew specific directions and asked them to follow me to the new address. They stopped somewhere and then turned in the wrong direction. Overall I felt like they were milking the time. I spoke to Courtney and explained my concerns. They gave me a credit, but overall I wouldn't recommend.

I called for a quote and was asked to list the furiture I wanted moved (a bedroom suit, a couch, loveseat, end tables, table and chairs, refrigerator, office desk and computer table). I was told there was a 3 hour minimum and I was not likely to hit the three hours. The movers came as scheduled, but it took them 7 hours (over twice the estimated time)! I saw a lot of standing around. One man was in charge but the other two didn't do much unless instructed to. They did wrap the furniture and nothing was damaged, but I was really, really frustrated that everything took so long to move so little furniture. We were planning to use them for my fiancee's move, but she has much more furniture and at their pace it would take several days and several thousand dollars.

Overall, they were just average. I would rate them much BELOW Atlanta Peach Mowers. Four guys came to work. Only two worked very hard. The rest of them did not seem to have the skill or strength to lift or move the items. They were slower than my expectation. (I pay by hours so would expect them to work at a reasonable speed.) Another point is that these guys went to the new home instead of coming to the old home where I have been waiting for an hour. Fortunately, my wife was at the new home, and she guided them. These are professional folks. Why cant they be prepared with directions/addresses and not be late for an hour?
