Jayson is a pro and very easy to work with. He is knowledgable about his products and offered a great selection. Pricing was a better value than I received from others considering the brand names offered.

Both Jayson and the installer Ron were great! I knew the color, type of blinds, and estimated measurements of my windows. Therefore, Jayson was able to provide me with an accurate estimate of the costs associated with the job prior to placing my order. Within 24 hours of accepting his estimate, he came to my home and took exact measurents of my windows. My blinds arrived within 2-3 weeks. My blinds look fabulous! I will definitely utilize their services in the future.

We had problems with the blinds. I called him to get the issue resolved. He told me it would be $125 a trip. I was able to resolve the issue with the manufacturer. Overall, it was a terrible experience. In the future I will pay more money for a larger company to do the work who stands by their warranty.

"We are terribly sorry for Member's continued problems with the shades in his rental unit at Aqua. We have sold this product to other folks over the years and never experienced such an issue. As he mentioned above, the shades have been acting oddly starting about a year or so after they were first installed. He attempted to repair them himself for a while and then contacted us. We went out many times at no charge (and free labor) and were successful in making them behave. However; once he moved out and started renting the unit the problems resurfaced so we replaced all of the Somfy motors free of charge. We did charge for our labor as that isn't covered under the warranty. We just recently re-replaced one of the motors again for free (except labor) and reprogrammed all of the remotes and checked and inspected all of the shades. As of 10/30/12 the shades all functioned perfectly. Within 24 hours Member called and said two of them were malfunctioning again according to his tenants. We have offered to go back out once Member has paid his current outstanding labor bill. Member has refused to do so, so we are unable to help him. Yes, we did suggest he find another vendor since we are unwilling to perform maintenance for free. Again we are terribly sorry that it has come to this impasse."

I needed to cut out the light without cutting my mountain view. My energy bill has dropped. The shades have really worked well. They followed my measurements exactly. They were pleasant to work with and I have no complaints with the service. The price was reasonable and the quality is good.

They did what they said they would do and the work was okay. One of the railings broke because they did not install it perfectly.

Overall, we were pleased with dealing with them. Wish it all could have been perfect, but mistakes get made occassionally. The important thing was they corrected it and made us happy.

The sales and installation staff were knowledgeable and courteous. Seems to be a high-quality product, though expensive. Their work was timely, and there was no pressure to make the sale. Only problem was that the sales rep miscalculated the price quote to the tune of over $60; I felt they should have stood by their quote, but they insisted that I pay the additional amount. Fortunately, I came across a Hunter Douglas coupon for a $100 rebate, so ABS deducted $100 from the final payment. The installation team took particular care with every last detail. Would certainly consider doing business with this company again.

ABS IS PROBABLY NOT FOR EVERYONE. THEY DON'T HAVE THE BEST PRICE BUT THEIR SERVICE IS GREAT. THEY ARE AN EXCLUSIVE HUNTER DOUGLAS GALLERY DEALER, BUT THEY CARRY OTHER STUFF TOO. THE BEST PART WAS THAT THEY'VE GOT THIS 20/20 GUARANTEE THING WHERE WE WERE ABLE TO SWAP OUT SOME OF THE SHADES THAT WE DECIDED WE DIDN'T REALLY LIKE. WE PICKED A CRAZY COLOR AND IT JUST DIDN'T WORK SO THEY LET US SWAP THEM OUT FOR A DIFFERENT COLOR AND IT ONLY COST ABOUT $100 TO DO IT. THEY'RE PEOPLE WERE VERY POLITE AND REALLY KNEW THEIR STUFF. ON TIME OR AT LEAST CALLED IF THEY WERE RUNNING LATE. THEY ALSO ARRANGED FOR SOME OF OUR WINDOWS TO BE TINTED AND PUT SOME PVC SHUTTERS IN OUR GARAGE THAT LOOK JUST LIKE THE REAL ONES FROM THE STREET.
