We were having some bathroom floor tile replaced and the tile installer said we needed to contact a plumber to have the toilet drain pipe cut down to match new floor height. We called Ansley Park Plumbing around noon and they had plumbers at my house before 5 PM. While chatting with the plumber and discussing the next steps, I mentioned that we might be selling this house. He suggested we check with DeKalb County regarding an ordinance that requires low-flow fixtures in a house before a new owner can have water turned on.
We did check into that and decided to have four toilets replaced and five lavatory faucets, all to meet county requirements. Plumbers had to make several trips over a three-week period to work around tile installation.
They did a good job and cleaned up afterward. I purchased all toilets and faucets through them which is why the price is higher than would be expected just for labor.
I recommend this company and would use them again.
Also, all new pipes in the crawl space had to be insulted. Some pipes were not insulated because one of the two plumbers on the job did not feel like getting in a tight space. We had to pay for a 2nd visit to complete the insulation which we had previously paid for already. On job completion, the plumber underestimated the time to complete the job, leaving us with incomplete work while he went on vacation. We were told the plumber could not come back to finish the job for 4-6 weeks. They are good plumbers. They are lacking in professionalism and when I discussed this with them they did nothing to make this right.
We still were not told who took the old copper plumber and what was done with it.. Plumbing parts became unorganized, some of which were found later.
